  • the surfactants lift the insoluble, typically grease, fat and/or oil, and particulate matter based on the sorption of water and surfactant, soil penetration and primary emulsif ⁇ cation with the aid of abrasive movement of the mop or cleaning implement.
  • the particulate matter agglomerates and the insoluble matter emulsifies into a micro-emulsion that is picked up more readily by the mop material or cleaning implement.
  • the water-insoluble matter such as oil
  • the water-insoluble matter is solubilised by the degreasing agent, and is transformed into the cleaning liquid. Consequently, the cleaning liquid above the flocculated agglomerated particulate matter is a one- or single- phase liquid. No emulsification occurs. Solubilisation, rather than emulsification, is highly beneficial, since it allows the mop or cleaning implement to be re-immersed and rinsed in the cleaning liquid, above the flocculated agglomerated matter, and reapplied to the surface to be cleaned, without re-transferring the water-insoluble matter back to the surface.
  • An additional benefit is that, as the initially flocculated matter sinks, it collects more particulate and insoluble matter suspended in the cleaning liquid, moving it also to the sump area.

Abstract

L’invention concerne un procédé de nettoyage d’une surface graisseuse, ledit procédé comprenant les étapes suivantes : a) obtenir un contenant (10) et un outil de nettoyage dont les dimensions lui permettent de loger dans le contenant (10) ; b) introduire un volume de liquide de nettoyage dans le contenant (10), ledit liquide de nettoyage comprenant de l’eau, un dégraissant chimique et un floculant chimique ; et c) utiliser l’outil de nettoyage pour récupérer des matières particulaires et des matières non hydrosolubles sur la surface graisseuse et les transférer dans le contenant, le dégraissant provoquant la solubilisation des matières non hydrosolubles, le floculant provoquant l’agglomération des matières particulaires et la floculation et la sédimentation des matières agglomérées, de manière à ce qu’elles soient maintenues dans le liquide de nettoyage sur et/ou à côté d’une surface inférieure du contenant. Dans l’étape (c), le liquide de nettoyage au-dessus du sédiment est de préférence une phase unique. L’invention concerne également une solution de nettoyage, un seau de nettoyage et une grille destinés à être utilisés dans le procédé selon l’invention.
