Un laminoir multicylindre pour laminage à chaud de bande et de plaque comprend un logement, des assises de cylindres supérieure et inférieure, des systèmes de cylindres supérieur et inférieur et un dispositif à vis de réglage permettant de régler la distance entre les cylindres de travail, les systèmes de cylindres supérieur et inférieur comprenant chacun un cylindre de travail et deux cylindres d’appui, les cylindres de travail et les deux cylindres d’appui des systèmes de cylindres supérieur et inférieur formant un triangle, et le diamètre externe des cylindres d’appui étant inférieur au diamètre interne des cylindres de travail. L’invention présente des avantages par rapport au laminoir conventionnel pour laminage à chaud de bande et de plaque, à savoir:1.suppression des systèmes de cylindres d'appui massifs et résolution complète du problème de flexibilité des cylindres pendant le laminage à chaud de bande et de plaque;2.suppression du besoin d’un moyen de déplacer les cylindres ou de cintrer les cylindres, ceci permettant d’obtenir une précision de laminage plus grande avec moins de 10μvm/m d’erreurs transversales ;3.baisse des coûts d’exploitation du laminoir, rallongement de la durée de vie des cylindres, suppression du besoin de tours massifs et d’une meule pour cylindres, entraînant une réduction des coûts de fabrication pour l’installation ; 4.la palette d’application du laminoir est très large, ce qui résout la difficulté liée à la fabrication du laminoir pour bande et plaque super large, permettant ainsi de laminer une bande et une plaque d’une largeur inférieure ou égale à 8000 mm, et la structure de celui-ci peut remplacer complètement le laminoir conventionnel pour laminage à chaud de bande et de plaque.
