Abstract

L'invention concerne une unité de traitement de données (15) permettant de traiter des données d'entrée audiovisuelles d'une source de données (19) telle qu'une caméra vidéo numérique, et un module de surveillance (1) doté d'une unité de traitement de données (15). L'unité de traitement de données possède un certain nombre de codeurs de données (20, 21) connectés à la source de données (19). La pluralité de codeurs de données fonctionne en parallèle sur les données d'entrée audiovisuelles. Un premier (20) des codeurs permet de délivrer un flux de données (22) sans perte codé et un deuxième (21) des codeurs de données permet de délivrer un flux de données temps réel (23) avec un débit binaire réduit comparé au débit binaire du flux de données (22) sans perte codé.
