Abstract

Offenbart ist eine Entladungslampe (1), insbesondere eine Xenon- oder Quecksilber-Hochdruckentladungslampe, mit einem Lampenkolben (2), der zwei diametral zueinander angeordnete Kolbenschäfte (6, 8) aufweist, die jeweils eine Elektrode (18, 20) mit einem Elektrodenhaltestab (22) und einem Elektrodenkopf (26, 28) tragen, wobei die Elektrodenhaltestäbe (22, 24) durch eine Einschmelzung (14) gasdicht in Endabschnitten der Kolbenschäfte fixiert sind. Erfindungsgemäß weisen die Kolbenschäfte (6, 8) zumindest zwei Stütznoppen (32) zur Abstützung der Elektroden auf, die zumindest abschnittsweise in Anlage an die Elektrodenhaltestäbe (22, 24) gebracht sind.
