Definitions
- the present invention relates to a device for dispensing dental floss or other dentifrices.
- a device of this type is known to the consumer in a wide variety of containers or dispensers.
- the usual dental floss container consists of a small, often rectangular box, in which a coil is inserted. An end of the wound up
- Dental floss thread is passed through a device through a container wall to the outside, where the thread can be cut in the desired length at a arranged on the container Abschneidegment. Most often, the upper side of the container, where the outlet opening for the tooth is the silk thread and the
- Cut off segment are closed by a top in the form of a cap and thereby protected.
- the dental floss container is designed to protect the inside of the floss coil against contamination, against the ingress of water or other liquids or odors and against bacterial contamination.
- the floss coil itself is not touched by the consumer, only the outside of the coil to be detected. This is to ensure that a large part of the dental floss during use and also during the
- Another object of the container is to facilitate the handling of dental floss.
- the container is intended to optimize the gripping of the rather small packaging unit between the fingers and to ensure the orderly unwinding of the required length of a dental floss thread.
- Such conventional dental floss containers consist mainly of a cavity housing and a cover.
- the cavity housing consists of two plastic housing parts, which are attached to each other so that gaps arise.
- the cover of the dental floss container is held by plugging or snapping on the top of the container, again with gaps around the cover.
- Container gaps cause dirt, fluid or gaseous substances and bacteria either to attach to the exterior of the container or even penetrate to the inside of the same.
- Straight dental floss containers are designed in their dimensions so that they can be carried by the consumer constantly outside the household.
- the present invention seeks to provide a portable, easy-to-handle, safe, hygienic dental care container so that it is protected against contamination or the ingress of liquid or gaseous substances in an improved manner.
- This object is achieved with a dental care container with the features of claim 1.
- Advantageous further embodiments of the dentifrice container are the subject of the dependent claims. The present invention will be described in more detail below
- the present invention includes a dentifrice container which, by its construction, avoids the disadvantages described above while providing additional benefits. It is a device for donating dental floss, which consists of a container for supporting a dental floss coil, a closure element, means for guiding the dental floss thread and a member for separating the dental floss thread, wherein the device or elements of the device of more than one Material component exist and are manufactured in the multi-component injection molding process.
- the structure of the dentifrice container is designed so that a seal between the different material components and thus an inseparable
- a second or further material component are injected onto the front and / or the rear shell of the dentifrice container, which are manufactured from a first material component, which then after closing the two shells of the container a largely dirt, water and aroma-tight sealing effected from first to second shell.
- a sealing lip can be formed by selecting the various material components between the dentifrice container and the hinged cap of the container.
- the connecting or sealing elements can simultaneously contribute to the better grip of the container during use.
- ornaments may be applied, for example, as punctiform or strip-shaped or in other geometrical arrangements as a second or further material component, which significantly increase the grip of the container.
- the thread guide of the container upper part may consist of a second or further material component, which is chosen so that at the outlet opening of the dental floss thread from the container, a substantial tightness is ensured against the ingress of dirt, fluid or gaseous substances or bacteria.
- the container is provided with one or more further chambers for receiving replacement silk floss or other dentifrices such as toothpicks, lozenges, etc.
- the dentifrice container of the present invention is also adapted to store and dispense other dentifrices or devices, for simplicity contributes to the handling of the variety of dentifrices offered.
- the described chambers are preferably to be sealed in such a way that different aromas contained therein can not mix with one another.
- the separating device inseparably connect the separating device by means of the encapsulation with a second or further material component in a simplified method with the dentifrice container.
- the separating device which usually consists of a metal plate, which currently has to be connected in a complex process with conventional dental floss containers, inserted at a suitable location with the container shells in a tool and a further material component interspersed, so that an inseparable connection is formed.
- the second or a further material component can also form a transparent viewing window, which gives the user information about the remaining amount in the container.
- the second or another material component may be selected to have a different color or to be provided with a fluorescent agent, so that the container can be easily found even in dark rooms or storage devices. Especially when carrying in bags or bags, this embodiment would be advantageous. Further advantages and embodiments of the invention are described in the dependent claims and will become apparent from the accompanying drawings. All features explained are not only in the particular combination specified, but also in other combinations or alone, without departing from the scope of the invention.
