Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Anlage zur Nitrifizierung von Abwässern aufweisend ein Belebungsbecken (5) und ein sich daran anschließendes Absetzbecken (6). Um den Prozess der Nitrifizierung zu optimieren, das heißt, eine ausreichende Sauers tof fkonzentration sowie eine hohe Verweilzeit des Belebtschlammes im Belebungsbecken (5) zu erzielen, wird vorgeschlagen, dass eine Gaseintragseinrichtung aus einem oberhalb einer Hälfte des Bodens des Belebungsbeckens (5) angeordneten Belüfterfeld (9) besteht, wodurch eine Strömungswalze (18) im Belebungsbecken (5) induziert wird. Der Übergang zum Absetzbecken (6) erfolgt über einen Ablauf (21) mit einem am Boden des Belebungsbeckens (5) angeordneten Eingang (20).
