Abstract

La présente invention concerne les installations d'épuration d'eaux, et notamment les installations du type à cuve unique. Le procédé selon l'invention consiste à prévoir, outre les étapes d'oxygénation, d'homogénéisation et de sédimentation, une étape de floculation des colloïdes en suspension dans le bain de traitement contenu de la cuve 1 par application, dans au moins une partie du bain, d'un champ électrique au moyen de deux électrodes 10 disposées verticalement dans le bain. L'étape de floculation est de préférence concomitante de l'étape d'oxygénation et/ou d'homogénéisation du bain contenu dans la cuve. Application notamment aux épurations des eaux usées de pavillons individuels.
