Abstract

The invention concerns a protective device (1) for preventing and inhibiting fingers from being caught characterized in that it comprises an extruded part (2) including at least two relatively rigid longitudinal planar strips (3, 3') connected to each other by a more flexible central longitudinal zone (4) forming hinge and two more rigid lateral edges (5, 5') which respectively extend the two strips (3, 3'). Said lateral edges (5, 5') serve to ensure that the extruded part (2) is fixed on the movable sash of the door and on the post of the frame of said door; said edges (5, 5') extending at least partly projected relative to the surface of the two strips (3, 3') when the device (1) is inactive.

The present invention relates to a protective device for preventing and preventing the pinching of the fingers between a woofer and a jamb of a frame.

It applies in particular, but not exclusively, to the prevention of the risk of pinching the fingers in the space where the opening swing fittings such as doors, windows or closets are located.

However, this device has the disadvantage of allowing, because of its flexibility, a child to slide his fingers in said space. In addition, its installation is relatively complex because it requires the attachment of a guide rail over the entire height of the opening and said amount, the profiled element slidably engaging at each of its ends in one said rails.

The object of the invention is therefore more particularly to eliminate these disadvantages. For this purpose, it offers a reusable protection device, which can be easily fixed and to prevent and optimally prevent the pinching of the fingers.

According to the invention, the device comprises a profiled piece comprising at least two relatively rigid longitudinal plane strips connected to one another by at least one hinge-forming longitudinal central zone and two stiffer lateral edges which respectively extend the two bands; these two side edges used to ensure the attachment of the profiled part on the leaf of the opening and on the frame of said sash. Said borders extend at least partially projecting from the surface of the two strips when the device is at rest.

Advantageously, to facilitate the attachment of the device according to the invention, the side edges may include pre-drills in which can be engaged fixing screws.

Advantageously, in order to facilitate the movements of the device in the event of opening and closing of the opening on which it is fixed, the profiled part may comprise two flexible lateral zones forming a hinge respectively between the two flat strips and the lateral edges. .

Advantageously, the lower and / or upper end of each of said borders may be extended by a prepositioning tab, these tabs to facilitate the establishment of the device according to the invention.
