Abstract

Equipo para el control permanente y continuo de los cables de acero en instalaciones de transporte o de elevación de personal y de materiales que consiste en un cabezal magneto inductivo compuesto por un conjunto de imanes permanentes (1) dispuestos de tal forma que generan un flujo de campo magnético (2) a través del cable de acero (4) objeto de control. Las variaciones de flujo que se producen como consecuencia de los defectos del cable son detectados por los por los distintos sectores inductivos (5). El posicionamiento de los defectos del cable se resuelve sin mecanismos de contacto físico, si no mediante comparación de las señales de dos elementos sensores de idénticas características. Un software se ocupa de interpretar las señales obtenidas del equipo, de forma tal que el operario disponga de una herramienta para el control permanente en el cable.
