Abstract

The inventive method for recycling rubber- or rubber and polymer mixture-containing wastes makes it possible to utilise solid and/or crushed wastes and to continuously recycling said waste into products for further use with a low-energy consumption and a high production ecological cleanness due to a process closeness and the absence of non-utilised processed products. The inventive method comprises a first stage consisting in pre-preparing wastes, a thermal decomposition stage in a furnace consisting in dividing decomposition products into a vapor-gas mixture and a solid residue and a liquid phase separation stage consisting in separating the liquid phase from said vapor-gas mixture in such a way that a carbon-containing product is obtained from the solid residue, wherein, at the pre-preparation stage, the solid or crashed products are blown by a hydrocarbon-containing gas and subsequently impregnated by a hydrocarbon solvent at a temperature equal to or less than 220 °C, the temperature decomposition stage in the furnace is carried out in the hydrocarbon-containing gas atmosphere heated to a temperature of 400-500 °C, and the separation of the liquid phase from the vapor-gas mixture is carried out in three steps in such a way that a heavy hydrocarbon fraction, an intermediate fraction whose part is recirculated to the waste pre-preparation stage for being used in the form of the hydrocarbon solvent, and a light hydrocarbon fraction are separated, in air blowing and cooling the solid residue prior to the hydrocarbon containing product stage and in returning the hydrocarbon-containing gas formed after separating the liquid phase from the vapor-gas mixture to the process. Two variants of the plant using tunnel and rotory-sectorial furnaces for thermally decomposing wastes are also disclosed.
