Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein in Wasser und/oder organischen Lösemitteln leicht dispergierbares BN-Granulat, umfassend hexagonales BN, anorganisches Bindemittel sowie gegebenenfalls übliche Zusatz- und Hilfsstoffe. Gegenstand der Erfindung sind ebenfalls Verfahren zur Herstellung eines solchen BN-Granulats durch Sprühtrocknen, Aufbaugranulation oder Wirbelschichtgranulation. Die erfindungsgemäßen BN-Granulate können verwendet werden zur Herstellung einer BN-Suspension für Beschichtungszwecke durch Einrühren des BN-Granulats in Wasser und/oder organisches Lösungsmittel.
Description
Leicht dispergierbares BN-Granulat, Verfahren zu dessen
Herstellung und dessen Verwendung
Gebiet der Erfindung
Die Erfindung betrifft in Wasser und/oder organischen Lösungsmitteln leicht dispergierbares BN-Granulat, Verfahren zu dessen Herstellung sowie dessen Verwendung zur Herstellung einer BN-Suspension für Be Schichtungszwecke.
Hintergrund der Erfindung
Hexagonales Bornitrid (hBN) enthaltende Suspensionen auf Wasser- oder Lösungsmittelbasis sind im Handel erhältlich und werden für verschiedene Anwendungsbereiche, wie für die Metallurgie oder für Feuerfestanwendungen, eingesetzt. Aus solchen BN-Suspensionen werden durch Tauchen, Sprühen, Pinseln oder Streichen Beschichtungen auf Oberflächen verschiedenster Substrate, wie Stahl, Gusseisen, Glas, Keramiken oder Graphit, aufgebracht. Diese BN-Schichten erfüllen aufgrund der Eigenschaften des hBN die unterschiedlichsten Funktionen, wie Wärmeleitfähigkeit, elektrische Isolation, Oxi- dations- und Korrosionsschutz, Nichtbenetzung (Trennmittelfunktion), Schmierung und Gleitfähigkeit, insbesondere bei Hochtemperaturanwendungen.
Da die BN-Schichten in Abhängigkeit des Einsatzgebietes neben chemischen und physikalischen auch unterschiedliche mechanische Belastungen erfahren können, enthalten die BN-Suspensionen teilweise anorganische Bindemittel, um die Haftfestigkeit auf dem jeweiligen Substrat und die Haltbarkeit der Schichten selbst zu verbessern.
Stand der Technik
Die im Stand der Technik bekannten BN-Suspensionen enthalten üblicherweise Feststoffkonzentrationen im Bereich von 5-20 Gew.-% und sind darin nachteilig, dass sie zum Sedimentieren der Feststoffanteile neigen und dann nur schwierig redispergierbar sind. Die Lager- und Verarbeitungsstabilität der bekannten BN-Suspensionen ist somit nicht zufriedenstellend. Weiterhin sind die Lagerhaltung und der Transport aufgrund des relativ hohen Wasser- und/oder Lösemittelanteils aufwendig und teuer. Im Falle von brennbaren Lösungsmitteln müssen bei der Lagerhaltung spezielle Sicherheitsaspekte be-
achtet werden und beim Transport sind die entsprechenden Gefahrgut- Verordnungen einzuhalten.
BN-Suspensionen sind auch als Konzentrate erhältlich. Diese Konzentrate haben jedoch den Nachteil, dass sie nur bedingt verdünnbar sind, da sich ihre Theologischen Eigenschaften und damit auch die Applikationseigenschaften bei der Aufbringung der Schichten und bei Zugabe des Lösungsmittels verändern. Dies liegt daran, dass die BN-Suspensionskonzentrate als nicht pastöse, flüssige Formulierungen mit einem BN-Gehalt von beispielsweise 25- 35 Gew.-% unter Zusatz von Verflüssigeradditiven hergestellt werden. Werden diese Konzentrate dann zum Gebrauch auf eine gebrauchsfertige Konzentration von beispielsweise 10 Gew.-% Feststoffanteil durch Zugabe von zusätzlichem Lösungsmittel verdünnt, wirken die Verflüssigeradditive weiter. Die erhaltenen Suspensionen sind dann zwar stabil und homogen, lassen sich aber aufgrund ihrer deutlich niedrigeren Viskosität nicht mehr über Pinseln oder Streichen und nur noch bedingt über Tauchen verarbeiten.
BN-Granulate sind ebenfalls im Stand der Technik bekannt. Beispielsweise beschreibt die US 5,898,009 hochdichte, agglomerierte hBN-Teilchen zur Ver- wendung als Hochtemperatur -Leitfähigkeitsfüllstoff in Kunststoff- Verbundwerkstoffen. Diese Teilchen werden hergestellt durch Zermahlen relativ großer hBN-Teilchen zu BN-Teilchen, die sich über einen Größenbereich von mindestens 100 um erstecken, Kaltpressen der zermahlenen Teilchen zu einer verdichteten Form, Granulieren zu einem granulierten Pulver, Kaltpressen des granulierten Pulvers und erneutes Zermahlen zur Erzielung agglomerierter Teilchen mit einer Dichte von mindestens 1 ,86 g/cm3.
Die US 6,645,612 beschreibt ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines sphärischen BN-Pulvers durch Bereitstellen einer hBN, Tensid und ein Sinteradditiv, wie Y2O3, CaO oder MgO enthaltenden Aufschlämmung, Sprühtrocknen der Auf- schlämmung unter solchen Bedingungen, dass sphärisches BN-Pulver erhalten wird, und Sintern des sphärischen BN-Pulvers. Das erhaltene Pulver dient als Wärmeleitfähigkeits-Füllstoff in Polymeren.
Sowohl die aus US 5,898,009 als auch aus US 6,645,612 bekannten Pulver sind nicht leicht dispergierbar und somit zur Herstellung von BN-Suspensionen mit einfachen Mitteln nicht geeignet.
Aufgabe der Erfindung
Der Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein BN-Granulat zur Verfügung zu stellen, das die Nachteile des Standes der Technik nicht aufweist und insbesondere mit einfachen Mitteln in Wasser und/oder organischen Lösungsmitteln leicht dispergierbar ist. Ferner sollen einfache Verfahren zur Herstellung eines solchen BN-Granulats angegeben werden.
Zusammenfassung der Erfindung
Die vorstehende Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäj3 gelöst durch ein BN-Granulat gemäß Anspruch 1 sowie Verfahren zu dessen Herstellung gemäß den Ansprüchen 9, 10 und 1 1.
Bevorzugte bzw. besonders zweckmäßige Ausführungsformen des Anmeldungsgegenstandes sind in den Unteransprüchen angegeben.
Es hat sich überraschenderweise gezeigt, dass das erfindungsgemäße BN- Granulat sehr leicht durch einfache Mittel in Wasser und/oder organischen Lösungsmitteln dispergierbar ist. Aus den erfindungsgemäßen BN-Granulaten bzw. Instantpulvern lassen sich somit durch einfaches kurzzeitiges Einrühren in Wasser und/oder organische Lösungsmittel BN-Suspensionen mit beliebigem Feststoffgehalt erzielen.
Detaillierte Beschreibung der Erfindung
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist somit ein in Wasser und/oder organischen Lösungsmitteln leicht dispergierbares BN-Granulat, umfassend hexagonales BN, anorganisches Bindemittel sowie gegebenenfalls übliche Zusatz- und Hilfs- Stoffe.
Das anorganische Bindemittel ist vorzugsweise aus Feuerfest-Bindemitteln, Metallphosphaten und Metallsilicaten ausgewählt. Die Feuerfest-Bindemittel können geeigneterweise aus natürlich vorkommenden und synthetischen To- nen, vorzugsweise Montmorilloniten und Bentoniten ausgewählt werden. Bei den Metallphosphaten und Metallsilicaten handelt es sich vorzugsweise um
Alkalimetall- und Aluminiumphosphate und -silicate, wobei Natrium- und Aluminiumphosphate besonders bevorzugt sind.
Als Zusatz- und Hilfsstoffe können die erfindungsgemäßen BN-Granulate ins- besondere Tenside, Verflüssiger, Stellmittel, Füllstoffe, Bakterizide und Farbstoffe enthalten. Als Tenside können im Stand der Technik bekannte nichtionische, kationische, anionische und/oder zwitterionische Tenside eingesetzt werden.
Als Verflüssiger eignen sich insbesondere in Wasser lösliche oder dispergier- bare, hydrophile Polymere, wie Polyethylen- und Polypropylenglykole, PoIy- vinylalkohol, Polyvinylbutyral und Polyvinylpyrrolidon. Beispiele für Stellmittel sind Tylose, Cellulose, Carboxymethylcellulose und Xanthan.
Beispiele für weitere Zusatzstoffe sind Pigmente, Antiflockungsmittel und An- tischaummittel.
Um eine leichte und schnelle Dispergierung der BN-Granulate und gute Verarbeitungseigenschaften der daraus hergestellten Suspensionen sicherzustel- len, weisen die erfindungsgemäßen BN-Granulate eine geringe mittlere Partikelgröße auf, vorzugsweise von 20- 1000 um.
Die Schüttdichte der erfindungsgemäßen BN-Granulate liegt vorzugsweise im Bereich von etwa 0,4 bis etwa 0,8 g/cm3. Der Anteil an hexagonalem BN in den erfindungsgemäßen BN-Granulaten sollte vorzugsweise mindestens 50 Gew.-% betragen.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist weiterhin ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines erfindungsgemäßen BN- Granulats durch Sprühtrocknen einer hexagonales BN, anorganisches Bindemittel sowie gegebenenfalls übliche Zusatz- und Hilfsstoffe enthaltenden Suspension, welche Wasser und/oder organische Lösungsmittel als Suspensionsmedium enthält.
Beim Sprühtrocknen ist darauf zu achten, dass die dabei sich bildenden BN- Granulate nur solchen Trockenbedingungen ausgesetzt werden, die ein Verbacken aufgrund zu hoher thermischer Belastung und resultierender Veränderung von Bindemitteln und Additiven verhindern. Dadurch wird eine gute Re-
dispεrgierbarkeit der BM-Granulate erreicht. Sprühgetrocknete BN-Granulatε gemäß der Erfindung weisen vorzugsweise eine mittlere Teilchengröße von 50- 1 10 um auf.
Ein alternatives Verfahren zur Herstellung eines erfindungsgemäßen BN-Gra- nulats erfolgt durch Aufbaugranulation, wobei hexagonales BN, anorganisches Bindemittel und gegebenenfalls restliche Feststoffbestandteile in einem Granuliermischer vorgemischt, Wasser und/oder organisches Lösungsmittel und gegebenenfalls restliche flüssige Bestandteile zugemischt werden und das erhaltene Granulat getrocknet wird.
Aufbaugranulierte Instantpulver gemäß der Erfindung werden somit nach den üblichen Verfahrens schritten aus den Formulierungskomponenten exklusive des Lösungsmittels hergestellt. Die im Granulationsverfahren benötigte Feuchtigkeits- bzw. Flüssigkeitsmenge richtet sich nach den üblichen Mengen zur Einstellung der gewünschten Granulatgröße und kann, ohne darauf beschränkt zu sein, dem Lösungsmittel der später daraus hergestellten Suspension entsprechen. Hinsichtlich einer leichten Dispergierbarkeit aufbaugranulierter Instant-BN-Pulver ist, wie im Falle der Sprühtrocknung, wieder auf die thermische Belastung im Trocknungsschritt zu achten. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit sollte zusätzlich dem Energieeintrag beim Granulationsschritt selbst gewidmet werden, um die Kompaktierung der einzelnen Granulatpartikel so gering zu halten, um Rieselfähigkeit zu gewährleisten und gleichzeitig eine schnelle Dispergierbarkeit zu garantieren. Hohe Schüttdichten sind bei den erfindungsgemäßen BN-Granulaten im Gegensatz zum Stand der Technik für beispielsweise Wärmeleitfähigkeitsanwendungen nicht erwünscht. Ferner haben aufbaugranulierte BN-Granulate gemäß der Erfindung vorzugsweise eine mittlere Partikelgröße von 200-800 um.
Gemäß einem weiteren Aspekt betrifft die Erfindung ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines wie oben beschriebenen BN-Granulats durch Wirbelschichtgranulation, wobei hexagonales BN, anorganisches Bindemittel und gegebenenfalls restliche Feststoffbestandteile in einen
Wirbelschichtgranulator eingebracht, Wasser und/oder organisches Lösungsmittel und gegebenenfalls restliche flüssige Bestandteile eingedüst werden und das erhaltene Granulat getrocknet wird.
Wirbelschichtgranuliεrte BN-Instantpulvεr werden ebenfalls nach den üblichen Verfahrensschritten aus den Formulierungskomponenten exklusive des Lösungsmittels hergestellt. Die im Wirbelschichtverfahren benötigte Feuchtig- keits- bzw. Flüssigkeitsmenge richtet sich wiederum nach den üblichen Men- gen zur Einstellung der gewünschten Granulatgröße und kann, ohne darauf beschränkt zu sein, dem Lösungsmittel der später daraus hergestellten Suspension entsprechen. Auch hier ist auf eine schonende Trocknung nebst geringer Teilchengröße zu achten, um eine leichte und schnelle Dispergierbar- keit zu gewährleisten. Wirbelschichtgranulierte BN-Granulate haben vorzugs- weise eine mittlere Partikelgröße von 100-200 μm.
Sowohl beim erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren durch Aufbaugranulation als auch durch Wirbelschichtgranulation ist es bevorzugt, das erhaltene Granulat bis zur Gewichtskonstanz zu trocknen.
Bei den erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren werden vorzugsweise BN-Pulver mit einer PartikelgröJ3e < 20 um eingesetzt, wobei der dso-Wert vorzugsweise im Bereich von 1-5 um liegt.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist schließlich die Verwendung eines erfindungsgemäßen BN-Granulats zur Herstellung einer BN-Suspension für Beschich- tungszwecke durch Einrühren des BN-Granulats in Wasser und/oder organisches Lösungsmittel. Als organisches Lösungsmittel wird vorzugsweise Etha- nol verwendet. Die erfindungsgemäßen BN-Granulate ermöglichen es inner- halb weniger Minuten, beispielsweise durch Schütteln, Umrühren per Hand oder langsames Rühren mit einem Blattrührer, eine gebrauchsfertige Suspension herzustellen. Ein intensives Homogenisieren, beispielsweise durch den Einsatz hoher Scherkräfte, ist aufgrund der leichten Dispergierbarkeit der erfindungsgemäßen BN-Instantgranulate nicht notwendig.
Anwendungsgebiet für die erfindungsgemäß erhaltenen BN-Suspensionen sind die bekannten Anwendungsgebiete, wie beispielsweise im Bereich der Gießerei, der Glasverareitung und des Ofenbaus, als Trenn- und Schmiermittel bei hohen Temperaturen sowie zum Oxidations- und Korrosionsschutz.
Gebrauchsfertige, einfach und zuverlässig zu verarbeitende, möglichst vielseitig einsetzbare BN-Suspensionen weisen vorzugsweise einen BN-Gehalt von 5- 20 Gew.-% auf.
Vorteile der Erfindung
BN-Instantpulver, wie die erfindungsgemäßen BN-Granulate, also solche, welche sich leicht und mit einfachen Mitteln zur Herstellung von BN-Suspensionen dispergieren lassen, sind bisher im Fachgebiet völlig unbekannt. Ein Vor- teil der Erfindung liegt daher darin, dass BN-Suspensionen nicht mehr in flüssiger Form mit einem hohen Anteil an Wasser bzw. Lösemittel gelagert und transportiert werden müssen, sondern dass Instantpulver vorgesehen werden, welche die Lagerhaltung vereinfachen und das Transportvolumen erheblich reduzieren, was unter Kosten- und Umweltgesichtspunkten Vorteile bietet. Im Falle von BN-Suspensionen auf Basis brennbarer Lösemittel müssen diese nicht mehr als Gefahrgut transportiert werden. Ebenfalls ist die Lagerhaltung sicherer, da nicht mehr brennbare Suspensionen gelager werden müssen, sondern ein BN-Trockenpulver.
Ferner bietet das erfindungsgemäße BN-Instantpulver eine hohe Lager- und Verarbeitungsstabilität sowie Flexibilität bei der Verarbeitung und Anwendung. Herkömmliche BN-Suspensionen in flüssiger Form haben den Nachteil, dass sie zum Sedimentieren der Feststoffanteile neigen und dann nur schwierig redispergierbar sind und somit eine schlechte Lager- und Verarbeitungs- Stabilität aufweisen. Ferner sind herkömmliche BN-Suspensionen auf einen bestimmten Feststoffgehalt eingestellt und in Folge der meist zugesetzten Verflüssigeradditive nur bedingt verdünnbar. Mit dem erfindungsgemäßen BN-Instantpulver können dagegen beliebige Feststoffkonzentrationen über einen breiten Bereich eingestellt werden.
Schließlich haben die erfindungsgemäßen, leicht dispergierbaren BN-Granulate gegenüber herkömmlichen BN-Suspensionskonzentraten den Vorteil, dass sie durch Zugabe des entsprechenden Lösemittels auf beliebige Konzentrationen einstellbar sind. Herkömmliche BN-Suspensionskonzentrate sind dagegen nur bedingt verdünnbar.
Die folgenden Beispiele dienen der weiteren Erläuterung der Erfindung.
Sofern nichts anderes angegeben ist, wurden in sämtlichen Beispielen als Verflüssiger Polyvinylalkohol (PVA) und als Stellmittel Tylose verwendet.
Referenzbeispiel 1: (Standardsuspension) Es werden 632,8 g Wasser vorgelegt. Darin werden 0,2 g eines nichtionischen Tensids, 4 g eines Bakterizide, Ig Verflüssiger und 182 g einer 1 gew.-%igen Stellmittel-Lösung eingerührt. Danach werden unter Rühren 100g hBN-Pulver (Partikelgröße <20μm, d50: 2,5um) eingearbeitet und durch weiteres Rühren 80g Natriumphosphat gelöst.
Man erhält eine gebrauchsfertige wässrige Suspension mit einem BN- Feststoffgehalt von 10 Gew.-%.
Beispiel 1: (Sprühtrocknung) Es wird gemäß dem Referenzbeispiel eine Standardsuspension hergestellt, um diese über Sprühgranulation in ein Instant-BN-Pulver zu verarbeiten.
Diese Suspension wird über einen Sprühturm sprühgetrocknet: Einlasstemperatur 2000C, Auslasstemperatur 800C bei einem Durchsatz von 1000g Suspension pro Stunde. Man erhält ein Sprühgranulat mit einer Restfeuchte von 1% und einer mittleren Partikelgröße von ca. 50μm (dio: 22,4μm, d5o: 47,5um, dgo: 148, lum) bei einer Schüttdichte von 0,78 g/cm3.
20 g des so erhaltenen Instantpulvers werden zur Herstellung einer BN- Suspension zu 80 g Wasser gegeben. Bereits nach 5 Minuten Rühren mittels
Magnetrührer wird eine homogene BN-Suspension erhalten
(Partikelgrößenbestimmung in der Suspension dso: 2,9 μm) , deren
Theologische Eigenschaften gleich der einer aus den Rohstoffen direkt hergestellten Suspension sind. Mit dieser BN-Suspension können mittels Tauchen, Pinseln, Streichen oder Sprühen BN-Beschichtungen auf verschiedenen Substraten hergestellt werden.
Ein BN-Instantpulver analoger Dispergierbarkeit wird erhalten, wenn anstelle des im Referenzbeispiel verwendeten Natriumphosphats als anorganisches Bindemittel Aluminiumphosphat eingesetzt wird.
Beispiel 2:
Das BN-Instantpulver wird wie in Beispiel 1 beschrieben hergestellt. 20g des so hergestellten Sprühgranulats werden in 80g Ethanol gegeben. Nach 5 Minuten Rühren mittels Propellerrührer wird eine homogene BN-Suspension erhalten, deren Theologische Eigenschaften gleich sind wie die einer aus den Rohstoffen direkt hergestellten Suspension. Mit dieser BN-Suspension können mittels Tauchen, Pinseln, Streichen oder Sprühen BN-Beschichtungen hergestellt werden.
Beispiel 3: (Sprühtrocknung)
Herstellung einer Lösemittel reduzierten Suspension zur Sprühgranulation.
Bis auf das Wasser enthält diese Suspension die identischen Komponenten des Referenzbeispiels, ist jedoch deutlich dickflüssiger.
Es werden 350 g Wasser vorgelegt. Darin werden 0,2 g eines nichtionischen Tensids, 4 g eines Bakterizids, Ig Verflüssiger und 182 g einer 1 gew.-%igen Stellmittel-Lösung eingerührt. Danach werden unter Rühren 100g hBN-Pulver eingearbeitet und durch weiteres Rühren 80g Na-Phosphat gelöst.
Dieser noch pumpfähige Versatz wird über einen Sprühturm sprühgetrocknet: Einlasstemperatur 2000C, Auslasstemperatur 800C bei einem Durchsatz von 1000g Suspension pro Stunde. Man erhält ein Sprühgranulat mit einer Restfeuchte von 1 , 1% und einer mittleren Partikelgröße von ca. lOOurn (dio: 42,3μm, d50: 97,7μm, d90: 207, 3μm) bei einer Schüttdichte von 0,71 g/cm3.
20 g des so erhaltenen Instantpulvers werden zur Herstellung einer BN- Suspension zu 80 g Wasser gegeben. Bereits nach 5 Minuten Rühren mittels Magnetrührer wird eine homogene BN-Suspension erhalten (Partikelgrößenbestimmung in der Suspension dso: 3, 1 um), deren Theologische Eigenschaften gleich der einer aus den Rohstoffen direkt hergestellten Suspension sind.
Ein BN-Instantpulver analoger Dispergierbarkeit wird erhalten, wenn anstelle des verwendeten Natriumphosphats als anorganisches Bindemittel Aluminiumphosphat eingesetzt wird.
Beispie! 4:
Das BN-Instantpulver wird wie in Beispiel 3 beschrieben hergestellt. 20g des so hergestellten Sprühgranulats werden in 80g Ethanol gegeben. Nach 5 Minuten Rühren mittels Propellerrührer wird eine homogene BN-Suspension erhalten, deren Theologische Eigenschaften gleich sind wie die einer aus den Rohstoffen direkt hergestellten Suspension. Mit dieser BN-Suspension können mittels Tauchen, Pinseln, Streichen oder Sprühen BN-Beschichtungen hergestellt werden.
Beispiel 5: (Aufbaugranulation)
Hierzu werden in einem Granuliermischer alle Feststoffbestandteile des Referenzbeispiels trocken 3 min vorgemischt (mittlere Stufe, 800 Upm): 1000g BN- Pulver (Partikelgröj3e < 20 um, d50: 2,5 um), 800 g Na-Phosphat, 18,2 pulverförmiges Stellmittel. Dann werden innerhalb von 5 min 300g Wasser kontinuierlich eingearbeitet (höchste Stufe, 2500 Upm). Danach werden die restlichen flüssigen Bestandteile auf einmal zugegeben (2g Tensid, 40 g Bakterizid, 10 g Verflüssiger) und für weitere 10 min granuliert.
Das so erhaltene Granulat wird bei 1200C auf Hordenblechen im Trockenschrank bis zur Gewichtskonstanz getrocknet (nach 4h 1. 1% Feuchte). Das so hergestellte Granulat hat eine mittlere Partikelgröj3e von 270um (Siebanalyse).
20 g des so erhaltenen Instantpulvers werden zur Herstellung einer BN- Suspension zu 80 g Wasser gegeben. Bereits nach 5 Minuten Rühren mittels
Propellerrüherwerk wird eine homogene BN-Suspension erhalten
(Partikelgrößenbestimmung in der Suspension dso: 2,8 um), deren
Theologische Eigenschaften gleich der einer aus den Rohstoffen direkt hergestellten Suspension sind.
Wieder kann das Granulat alternativ hierzu in Ethanol als Lösungsmittel resuspendiert werden.
Ein BN-Instantpulver analoger Dispergierbarkeit wird erhalten, wenn anstelle des Natriumphosphats als anorganisches Bindemittel Aluminiumphosphat eingesetzt wird.
Beispiel 6: (Wirbelschichtgranulation)
Zur Herstellung eines redispergierbaren Instantpulvers für eine BN- Suspension werden 800g BN-Pulver (Partikelgröße < 20 um, dso: 2,5 um) und 650g Na-Phosphat in den Vorlagebehälter des Wirbelschichtgranulators gegeben. Dann werden 0,5g Tensid und 1 ,5g Stellmittel in 150ml Wasser in die Wirbelschicht eingedüst (5ml/min). Nach einer Trocknung bei 120°C von 20 min erhält man ein Pulvergranulat mit einer Restfeuchte von 1% und einer Partikelgröße 99% < 315μm nach Siebanalyse.
20 g des so erhaltenen Instantpulvers werden zur Herstellung einer BN- Suspension zu 80 g Wasser gegeben. Bereits nach 5 Minuten Rühren mittels Propellerrüherwerk wird eine homogene BN-Suspension erhalten (Partikelgrößenbestimmung in der Suspension dso: 2,6 um), deren Theologische Eigenschaften gleich der einer aus den Rohstoffen direkt hergestellten Suspension sind.
Wieder kann das Granulat alternativ hierzu in Ethanol als Lösungsmittel resuspendiert werden.
Ein BN-Instantpulver analoger Dispergierbarkeit wird erhalten, wenn anstelle des Natriumphosphats als anorganisches Bindemittel Aluminiumphosphat eingesetzt wird.
Claims
1. In Wasser und/oder organischen Lösemitteln leicht dispergierbares BN- Granulat, umfassend hexagonales BN, anorganisches Bindemittel sowie gegebenenfalls übliche Zusatz- und Hilfsstoffe.
2. BN-Granulat nach Anspruch 1 , wobei das anorganische Bindemittel aus Feuerfest-Bindemitteln, Metallphosphaten und Metallsilicaten ausgewählt ist.
3. BN-Granulat nach Anspruch 2, wobei das Feuerfest-Bindemittel aus natürlich vorkommenden und synthetischen Tonen, vorzugsweise Montmorilloniten und Bentoniten, ausgewählt ist.
4. BN-Granulat nach Anspruch 2, wobei die Metallphosphate und Metallsilicate aus Alkalimetall- und Aluminiumphosphaten und -silicaten ausgewählt sind, vorzugsweise aus Natrium- und Aluminiumphosphaten.
5. BN-Granulat nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1-4, wobei die Zusatz- und Hilfsstoffe aus Tensiden, Verflüssigern, Stellmitteln, Füllstoffen, Bakteriziden und Farbstoffen ausgewählt sind.
6. BN-Granulat nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 -5 mit einer mittleren Partikelgröße von 20- 1000 um.
7. BN-Granulat nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1-6 mit einer Schüttdichte von 0,4 bis 0,8 g/cm3.
8. BN-Granulat nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1-7, wobei der Gehalt an hexagonalem BN mindestens 50 Gew.-% beträgt.
9. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines BN-Granulats nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 -8 durch Sprühtrocknen einer hexagonales BN, anorganisches Bindemittel sowie gegebenenfalls übliche Zusatz- und Hilfsstoffe enthaltenden Suspension, welche Wasser und/oder organische Lösungsmittel als Suspensionsmedium enthält.
10. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines BN-Granulats nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1-8 durch Aufbaugranulation, wobei hexagonales BN, anorganisches Bindemittel und gegebenenfalls restliche Feststoffbestandteile in einem Granuliermischer vorgemischt, Wasser und/oder organisches Lösungsmittel und gegebenenfalls restliche flüssige Bestandteile zugemischt werden und das erhaltene Granulat getrocknet wird.
1 1. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines BN-Granulats nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 -8 durch Wirbelschichtgranulation, wobei hexagonales BN, anorganisches Bindemittel und gegebenenfalls restliche Feststoffbestandteile in einen Wirbelschichtgranulator eingebracht, Wasser und/oder organisches Lösungsmittel und gegebenenfalls restliche flüssige Bestandteile eingedüst werden und das erhaltene Granulat getrocknet wird.
12. Verfahren nach Anspruch 10 oder 1 1 , wobei das erhaltene Granulat bis zur Gewichtskonstanz getrocknet wird.
13. Verwendung eines BN-Granulats nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1-8 zur Herstellung einer BN-Suspension für Beschichtungszwecke durch Einrühren des BN-Granulats in Wasser und/oder organisches Lösungsmittel.
14. Verwendung nach Anspruch 13 zur Herstellung einer BN-Suspension mit einem BN-Gehalt von 5-20 Gew.-%.
