Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Abgassystem (10) für eine Brennkraftmaschine (20) mit mehreren Zylindern (1, 2, 3, 4), mit einer vorzugsweise einstückigen Abgasrohranordnung mit pro Zylinder (1, 2, 3, 4) zumindest einem ersten Abgasrohr (11, 12, 13, 14), wobei jeweils zwei erste Abgasrohre (11, 14; 12, 13) zweier in der Zündfolge nicht unmittelbar aufeinanderfolgender Zylinder (1, 2, 3, 4) in jeweils ein zweites Abgasrohr (15, 16) münden, und wobei jeweils zwei zweite Abgasrohre (15, 16) in ein gemeinsames Sammelrohr (17) münden. Es wird vorgeschlagen, dass im Mündungsbereich (21, 22, 23) der beiden ersten und/oder zweiten Abgasrohre (11, 14; 12, 13; 15, 16) die zusammenführenden ersten bzw. zweiten Abgasrohre (11, 14; 12, 13; 15, 16) einen Winkel (α1, α2) ≤ 30°, vorzugsweise ≤ 20°, aufspannen, wobei der Winkel (α1, α2) durch die Tangenten (t1, t2, t3, t4) in Referenzpunkten (P1, P2, P3, P4) der Innenwand (11a, 14a; 12a, 13a; 15a, 16a) der Abgasrohre (11, 14; 12, 13; 15, 16) aufgespannt ist, welche Referenzpunkte (P1, P2, P3, P4) um einen etwa dem halben Durchmesser (d1, d2) des ersten bzw. zweiten Abgasrohres (11, 14; 12, 13; 15, 16) entsprechenden Betrag (a1, a2) stromaufwärts eines ersten Schnittpunktes (S1, S2) der beiden Tangenten (t1, t2, t3, t4) definiert sind.
