Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif utilisé pour mouler une base de prothèse (22) pour une prothèse dentaire ou pour remplacer une base de prothèse en cire produite à partir d'un modèle de travail (20) grâce à une base de prothèse correspondante en matière synthétique. Ledit dispositif comporte deux parties de moulage (1, 2) et un moyen de fixation. Grâce au moyen de fixation, les deux parties de moulage (1, 2) sont réglées et espacées l'une par rapport à l'autre de manière à pouvoir être positionnées et fixées, de sorte que lors du moulage de la prothèse de base l'excès de matière synthétique utilisée peut être extraite sans problème et éliminée, sans que la matière synthétique influence la distance entre les parties du moulage (1, 2). Les prothèses ainsi obtenues ne présentent aucune augmentation de morsure, l'usure non souhaitée des surfaces de morsure des dents artificielles est supprimée sur la prothèse finie, ce qui permet de corriger une augmentation de morsure de ce type.
