Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Frequenzweiche mit einem Anten-nenanschluss (ANT), einem ersten Signalpfad (S1) und einem zweiten Signalpfad (S2). Im ersten Signalpfad (S1) ist ein erstes Bandpassfilter (F1) und im zweiten Signalpfad (S2) ein zweites Bandpassfilter (F2) angeordnet. Im zweiten Signalpfad (S2) ist antennenseitig eine Anpassschaltung (MA) angeordnet, die einen Querzweig zur Masse mit einer ersten Impedanzkompo-nente (Z1) aufweist. In der Anpassschaltung (MA) ist ferner eine Parallelschaltung eines Dünnschichtresonators (R1) und einer zweiten Impedanzkomponente (Z3) angeordnet. Die Anpass-schaltung (MA) erzeugt ein offenes Ende am Eingang des zwei-ten Filters (F2) im Durchgangsbereich des ersten Filters (F1).

Description

Beschreibung
Frequenzweiche
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Frequenzweiche, die z. B. in der Frontendschaltung eines tragbaren Mobilfunkgeräts eingesetzt werden kann.
Eine Frequenzweiche mit Dünnschichtresonatoren ist z. B. aus der Druckschrift EP 1058383 A3 bekannt.
Aus der Druckschrift WO 2004/047290 Al ist eine Frontend¬ schaltung mit einer Frequenzweiche bekannt, bei der als Pha¬ senschieber eine im Empfangspfad angeordnete und einem Band¬ passfilter vorgeschaltete λ/4-Leitung verwendet wird.
Aus der Druckschrift EP 0 788 182 A2 ist ein MWK-Duplexer (MWK = Mikrowellenkeramik) mit dielektrischen Resonatoren be¬ kannt, bei dem ein 180°-Phasenschieber anstelle einer λ/4- Leitung LC-Elemente aufweist.
Aufgabe dieser Erfindung ist es, eine Frequenzweiche mit ei¬ nem platzsparenden Phasenschieber und einer guten Isolation zwischen verschiedenen Signalpfaden anzugeben.
Diese Aufgabe ist durch eine Frequenzweiche mit den Merkmalen des Anspruchs 1 gelöst . Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der Er¬ findung gehen aus weiteren Ansprüchen hervor.
Die Erfindung gibt eine Frequenzweiche mit einem Antennenan- schluss und zwei Signalpfaden an, in denen jeweils ein Band¬ passfilter angeordnet ist. In einem der Signalpfade (z. B. im zweiten Signalpfad) ist zwischen dem Antennenanschluss und dem Bandpassfilter eine als Phasenschieber geeignete Anpass¬ schaltung angeordnet. Die Anpassschaltung weist einen Quer¬ zweig zur Masse auf, in dem eine erste Impedanzkomponente an¬ geordnet ist. In der Anpassschaltung ist im Signalpfad eine Parallelschaltung eines mit akustischen Wellen arbeitenden Resonators und einer zweiten Impedanzkomponente angeordnet.
Der mit akustischen Wellen arbeitende Resonator ist in einer Variante ein mit akustischen Volumenwellen arbeitender Dünn¬ schichtresonator. Der mit akustischen Wellen arbeitende Reso¬ nator umfasst in einer anderen Variante mindestens einen mit akustischen Oberflächenwellen arbeitenden Wandler.
Die AnpassSchaltung funktioniert im Wesentlichen als ein Pha¬ senschieber, vorzugsweise ein 180°-Phasenschieber und erzeugt im Durchgangsbereich des anderen (ersten) Signalpfads ein of¬ fenes Ende am Eingang des ihr nachgeschalteten Filters, d. h. des im zweiten Signalpfad angeordneten zweiten Filters.
In einer Variante der Erfindung ist es möglich, die Anpass¬ schaltung teilweise im ersten und teilweise im zweiten Sig¬ nalpfad anzuordnen. Die Anpassschaltung kann (zwischen dem Antennenanschluss und dem Eingang des zweiten Bandpassfil¬ ters) eine Phasendrehung von weniger als 180° realisieren.
Die Erfindung hat den Vorteil einer guten Isolation zwischen den Signalpfaden bei einer platzsparenden Ausbildung des Pha¬ senschiebers. Ein Bauteil gemäß Erfindung zeichnet sich durch eine hohe ESD-Festigkeit aus, weil ein Teil der Energie über den Querzweig gegen Masse abfließen kann.
Die Frequenzweiche stellt vorzugsweise einen Duplexer dar. Dabei ist der erste Signalpfad vorzugsweise ein Sendepfad und der zweite Signalpfad ein Empfangspfad. Die Frequenzweiche kann alternativ einen Diplexer z. B. zur Trennung der Signale von zwei Funkbändern darstellen.
Unter einer Impedanzkomponente versteht man im Sinne der vor¬ liegenden Erfindung eine elektrische Komponente, die eine komplexe Impedanz aufweist . Die Impedanzkomponente kann ein einzelnes Schaltungselement wie z. B. eine Induktivität, eine Kapazität oder einen Dünnschichtresonator, oder die Kombina¬ tion (Serien- oder Parallelschaltung) dieser Schaltungsele¬ mente darstellen. Als Impedanzkomponente kann z. B. ein als Serienresonanzkreis oder Parallelresonanzkreis ausgebildetes LC-Glied verwendet werden.
Im zweiten Signalpfad können neben der Parallelschaltung des Dünnschichtresonators und der zweiten Impedanzkomponente auch weitere Serienimpedanzkomponenten angeordnet sein, die vor¬ zugsweise als Induktivitäten oder Kapazitäten gewählt sind. Eine Serienimpedanzkomponente kann z. B. zwischen dem An¬ schlussknoten des Querzweiges und dem Eingang des zweiten Filters angeordnet sein. Eine weitere Serienimpedanzkomponen¬ te kann z. B. zwischen dem Antennenanschluss und dem An¬ schlussknoten des Querzweiges angeordnet sein. Der Querzweig kann in einer Variante direkt an den Antennenanschluss ange¬ schlossen sein.
Es ist vorteilhaft, wenn die Parallelschaltung des Dünn¬ schichtresonators und der zweiten Impedanzkomponente bzw. ei¬ ne Schaltung, die aus allen im zweiten Signalpfad hinterein¬ ander geschalteten Komponenten besteht, eine Resonanzfrequenz aufweist, die im Durchgangsbereich des zweiten Filters liegt. Die im Querzweig angeordnete erste Impedanzkomponente kann eine Kapazität, eine Induktivität oder einen Dünnschichtreso¬ nator darstellen. Die erste Impedanzkomponente kann auch eine Induktivität und eine Kapazität (oder einen Dünnschichtreso¬ nator) umfassen, die parallel miteinander verschaltet sind und einen Parallelresonanzkreis bilden.
Es ist vorteilhaft, wenn der im Querzweig angeordnete Paral¬ lelresonanzkreis eine Resonanzfrequenz aufweist, die im Durchgangsbereich des zweiten Filters liegt.
Im ersten Signalpfad können Anpassungselemente, z. B. Induk¬ tivitäten vorgesehen sein, die vor oder nach dem ersten Fil¬ ter angeordnet sein können. Im zweiten Signalpfad können nach dem zweiten Filter angeordnete Anpassungselemente, z. B. In¬ duktivitäten vorgesehen sein.
Die Bandpassfilter sind vorzugsweise in Ladder- oder (insbe¬ sondere bei symmetrischer Signalführung) Latticetype Bauweise aus Dünnschichtresonatoren aufgebaut. Bei einem Laddertype- Filter sind im Signalpfad angeordnete Serienresonatoren sowie in Querzweigen angeordnete Parallelresonatoren vorgesehen. Die Querzweige verbinden den Signalpfad mit Masse oder zwei Signalpfade miteinander.
Der Parallelresonator kann im jeweiligen Querzweig in Serie mit einer weiteren Impedanzkomponente, vorzugsweise einer In¬ duktivität geschaltet sein. Zwei verschiedene Querzweige des¬ selben Filters können durch eine zusätzliche Impedanzkompo¬ nente, z. B. eine Induktivität, eine Kapazität oder einen Leitungsabschnitt elektrisch miteinander verkoppelt sein. In einer vorteilhaften Variante sind die Dünnschichtresonato¬ ren des zweiten Filters sowie der in der Anpassungsschaltung angeordnete Dünnschichtresonator auf einem gemeinsamen Chip ausgebildet. Die Resonanzfrequenz des in der Anpassungsschal¬ tung angeordneten Dünnschichtresonators entspricht vorzugs¬ weise der Resonanzfrequenz der im zweiten Signalpfad angeord¬ neten Serienresonatoren des zweiten Filters.
Die erste Impedanzkomponente kann ein ESD-Schutzelement, z. B. einen Varistor oder eine Induktivität darstellen und zur Ableitung einer antennenseitig auftretenden Überspannung ge¬ gen Masse dienen.
Das erste und/oder das zweite Filter kann als ein Balun mit einem unsymmetrischen und einem symmetrischen elektrischen Tor ausgeführt sein.
In einer Variante arbeitet das erste Filter (vorzugsweise Sendefilter) mit akustischen Volumenwellen und das zweite Filter (vorzugsweise Empfangsfilter) mit akustischen Oberflä¬ chenwellen.
Im folgenden wird die Erfindung anhand von Ausführungsbei¬ spielen und der dazugehörigen Figuren näher erläutert . Die Figuren zeigen anhand schematischer und nicht maßstabsgetreu¬ er Darstellungen verschiedene Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfin¬ dung. Gleiche oder gleich wirkende Teile sind mit gleichen Bezugszeichen bezeichnet. Es zeigen schematisch

Figur 1 zeigt eine Anpassungsschaltung MA mit einem im zwei¬ ten Signalpfad S2 angeordneten Dünnschichtresonator Rl und einem Querzweig, der den zweiten Signalpfad S2 mit der Masse verbindet . Im Querzweig ist eine erste Impedanzkomponente an¬ geordnet, die hier als Induktivität Ll gewählt ist. Parallel zum Dünnschichtresonator Rl ist eine Induktivität L3 geschal¬ tet, die eine zweite Impedanzkomponente im Sinne dieser Er¬ findung darstellt. Die Induktivität Ll ist in dieser Variante direkt an den Antennenanschluss ANT angeschlossen. Nicht dar¬ gestellt ist hier ein erster Signalpfad, der parallel zum zweiten Signalpfad S2 ebenfalls an die Antenne ANT ange¬ schlossen werden kann.
In Figur 2 ist eine Frequenzweiche gezeigt, die einen ersten Sl und einen zweiten S2 Signalpfad aufweist. Der erste Sig¬ nalpfad Sl verbindet den Antennenanschluss ANT und den ersten Anschluss Pl der Frequenzweiche. Der zweite Signalpfad S2 verbindet den Antennenanschluss ANT und den zweiten Anschluss P2 der Frequenzweiche. Im ersten Signalpfad Sl ist ein erstes Bandpassfilter Fl und im zweiten Signalpfad S2 ein zweites Bandpassfilter F2 angeordnet. Die Anpassungsschaltung MA ist im zweiten Signalpfad S2 zwischen dem Antennenanschluss ANT und dem Eingang des zweiten Filters F2 angeordnet. Die Anpas- sungsschaltung MA weist einen Querzweig zur Masse auf, in dem die erste Impedanzkomponente Zl angeordnet ist. Im zweiten Signalpfad S2 sind ist die Parallelschaltung eines Dünn¬ schichtresonators Rl und einer zweiten Impedanzkomponente Z3 angeordnet, die in Serie mit einer weiteren Impedanzkomponen¬ te Z2 geschaltet ist. Die Impedanzkomponente Z2 ist zwischen der genannten Parallelschaltung und dem Anschlussknoten des Querzweigs angeordnet.
Die Anpassungsschaltung MA ist maximal durchlässig im Durch¬ lassbereich des zweiten Filters F2 und weist im Durchlassbe¬ reich des ersten Filters Fl vorzugsweise die maximale Sper¬ rung auf . Die Impedanzwerte der Impedanzkomponenten sind so gewählt, um diese Bedingung zu erfüllen.
In Figur 3 ist eine Frequenzweiche gezeigt, die als Duplexer ausgebildet ist. Der Sendepfad TX entspricht dem ersten Sig¬ nalpfad Sl und der Empfangspfad RX dem zweiten Signalpfad S2. Der Sendepfad TX ist an den Sendeeingang TX-IN und der Emp¬ fangspfad an den Empfangsausgang RX-OUT angeschlossen.
Die Filter Fl, F2 weisen eine Laddertype Anordnung von Dünn¬ schichtresonatoren auf. Die im Signalpfad angeordneten Reso¬ natoren sind Serienresonatoren und die in den Querzweigen des Filters angeordneten Resonatoren sind Parallelresonatoren. Die Parallelresonatoren sind jeweils in Serie mit einer Impe¬ danzkomponente Z5, Z6, Z7, Z8, Z9, ZlO gegen Masse geschal¬ tet. Verschiedene Querzweige sind aneinander mittels den Im¬ pedanzkomponenten Z14, Z15, Z16, Z17 gekoppelt. Mit der Ver- kopplung der Parallelzweige gelingt es beispielsweise, in der Übertragungsfunktion der Schaltung zusätzliche Polstellen zur Unterdrückung von Signalen außerhalb des Passbands im jewei¬ ligen Signalpfad herbeizuführen. Die Impedanzkomponenten sorgen insbesondere für die Vergröße¬ rung der Bandbreite des jeweiligen Bandpassfilters. Die Impe¬ danzkomponenten Zl bis Z17 sind vorzugsweise Induktivitäten oder Kapazitäten. Die Impedanzkomponenten Z14, Z15, Z16, Z17 können in einer Variante jeweils einen Leitungsabschnitt dar¬ stellen.
Die Anpassungsschaltung MA weist im Unterschied zu Figur 2 zusätzlich eine im Empfangspfad antennenseitig angeordnete Impedanzkomponente Z13 auf. Die Resonanz bzw. Serienresonanz der Serienschaltung der Impedanzkomponenten Z13, Z2 und des Resonators Rl entspricht vorzugsweise einer Durchgangsfrequ¬ enz des zweiten Filters F2. Die Frequenz der Parallelresonanz der Parallelschaltung des Resonators Rl und der zweiten Impe¬ danzkomponente Z3 liegt vorzugsweise im Durchlassbereich des ersten Filters Fl, was die Isolation der beiden Signalpfade TX, RX im Sendebetrieb verbessert.
Das erste Filter Fl ist in Serie mit Impedanzkomponenten ZIl und Z12 geschaltet, die zusammen mit den Impedanzkomponenten Z9, ZlO und Z14 ein Anpassungsnetzwerk für den Sendepfad TX bilden. Das zweite Filter F2 ist in Serie mit einer ausgangs- seitigen Impedanzkomponente Z4 geschaltet . Die Impedanzkompo¬ nenten Z4 bis Z8, Z15, Z16, Z17 und die Anpassungsschaltung MA bilden ein Anpassungsnetzwerk für den Empfangspfad RX.
Der Resonator Rl weist vorzugsweise den gleichen Schichtauf¬ bau und auch die gleiche Resonanzfrequenz wie die im Filter F2 eingesetzten Resonatoren, insbesondere Serienresonatoren auf. Möglich ist aber auch, beim Resonator Rl einen anderen Schichtaufbau zu wählen und dadurch seine Resonanzfrequenz gegenüber der Resonanzfrequenz der Serienresonatoren des Emp¬ fangsfilters F2 zu verschieben.
In einer Variante ist das Sendefilter Fl und das Empfangsfil¬ ter F2 auf jeweils einem Chip angeordnet. Die Anpassungs¬ schaltung ist vorzugsweise auf dem oder in dem Chip reali¬ siert, auf dem das Empfangsfilter F2 realisiert ist. In einer vorteilhaften Variante sind die Impedanzkomponenten Zl bis Z17 (insbesondere die zweite Impedanzkomponente Z3) im glei¬ chen Substrat vergraben oder auf diesem Substrat angeordnet, auf dem das zugeordnete Bandpassfilter realisiert ist. Mög¬ lich ist es auch, die Frequenzweiche komplett als ein vor¬ zugsweise zur Oberflächenmontage geeignetes Chip-Bauelement zu realisieren.
Figur 4 zeigt eine Variante der Erfindung, bei der das erste Filter Fl elektrisch symmetrisch (balanced) in Form einer Latticetype-Struktur mit zwei Serienzweigen und mindestens einem die Serienzweige verbindenden Querzweig ausgebildet ist. Zwischen dem ersten Filter Fl und dem Antennenanschluss ist ein Balun BA angeordnet. Im unsymmetrisch (unbalanced) ausgebildeten antennenseitigen Teil des Sendepfades TX ist eine Anpassungsimpedanz ZIl angeordnet. Der symmetrisch (ba¬ lanced) ausgebildete antennenseitige Teil des Sendepfades weist zwei Signalpfade TXl, TX2 mit jeweils einer darin ange¬ ordneten Anpassungsimpedanz Z12a, Z12b auf.
Figur 5 zeigt eine Variante der Erfindung, bei der das erste Filter Fl einen Resonatorstapel mit zwei akustisch miteinan¬ der gekoppelten und galvanisch durch diese Schicht voneinan¬ der entkoppelten Resonatoren aufweist. Der Resonatorstapel ist dabei als ein Balun beschaltet. Die Balun-Funktionalität kann im Sendepfad TX auch anderwei¬ tig realisiert sein. Die Impedanzkomponenten ZIl, Z12a, Z12b können jeweils als eine LC-Schaltung realisiert sein.
Auch ein Empfangspfad RX und ein Empfangsfilter bzw. zweites Filter F2 kann gemäß Figuren 4 oder 5 realisiert sein.
Die Erfindung ist nicht auf die Anzahl der in den Figuren vorgestellten Elemente, insbesondere die Anzahl der Parallel¬ zweige oder die Anzahl der Resonatoren pro Filter beschränkt . Die Anpassungsschaltung MA kann weitere zur Phasenschiebung geeignete Komponenten enthalten. Die Anpassungsschaltung MA oder das jeweilige Filter mit einer Laddertype- oder Lattice¬ type Struktur kann mehr als nur einen Querzweig aufweisen.

Claims

Patentansprüche
1. Frequenzweiche mit einem Antennenanschluss (ANT) , einem ersten Signalpfad (Sl) und einem zweiten Signalpfad (S2) , mit einem im ersten Signalpfad (Sl) angeordneten ersten Bandpassfilter (Fl) und einem im zweiten Signalpfad (S2) angeordneten zweiten Bandpassfilter (F2), mit einer im zweiten Signalpfad (S2) antennenseitig ange¬ ordneten Anpassschaltung (MA) , die einen Querzweig zur Masse aufweist, in dem eine erste Impedanzkomponente (Zl) angeordnet ist, wobei in der Anpassschaltung (MA) eine Parallelschaltung eines mit akustischen Wellen arbeitenden Resonators (Rl) und einer zweiten Impedanzkomponente (Z3) angeordnet ist, wobei die Anpassschaltung (MA) als ein Phasenschieber funktioniert und im Durchgangsbereich des ersten Filters (Fl) ein offenes Ende am Eingang des zweiten Filters (F2) erzeugt.
2. Frequenzweiche nach Anspruch 1, wobei die erste Impedanzkomponente (Zl) eine Induktivität (Ll) ist.
3. Frequenzweiche nach Anspruch 1, wobei die erste Impedanzkomponente (Zl) eine Kapazität ist.
4. Frequenzweiche nach Anspruch 1, wobei die erste Impedanzkomponente (Zl) ein mit akusti¬ schen Wellen arbeitender Resonator ist.
5. Frequenzweiche nach Anspruch 1, wobei die erste Impedanzkomponente (Zl) eine Parallel¬ schaltung von einem mit akustischen Wellen arbeitenden Resonator und einer Induktivität (Ll) ist, wobei die Re¬ sonanzfrequenz dieser Parallelschaltung einer Durchlass¬ frequenz des zweiten Filters (F2) entspricht.
6. Frequenzweiche nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, wobei die zweite Impedanzkomponente (Z3) eine Induktivi¬ tät (L3) ist.
7. Frequenzweiche nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, wobei die zweite Impedanzkomponente (Z3) eine Kapazität ist.
8. Frequenzweiche nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, wobei im zweiten Signalpfad (S2) zwischen dem Anschluss- punkt des Querzweiges und der Parallelschaltung des mit akustischen Wellen arbeitenden Resonators (Rl) und der zweiten Impedanzkomponente (Z3) eine dritte Impedanzkom¬ ponente (Z2) angeordnet ist.
9. Frequenzweiche nach Anspruch 8, wobei die dritte Impedanzkomponente (Z2) eine Induktivi¬ tät oder eine Kapazität ist.
10.Frequenzweiche nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, wobei im zweiten Signalpfad (S2) zwischen dem Antennenan- schluss (ANT) und dem Anschlusspunkt des Querzweiges eine vierte Impedanzkomponente (Z13) angeordnet ist.
11.Frequenzweiche nach Anspruch 10, wobei die vierte Impedanzkomponente (Z13) eine Induktivi- tät oder eine Kapazität ist.
12.Frequenzweiche nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 11, wobei das erste und/oder das zweite Filter (Fl, F2) eine Laddertype-Struktur mit im jeweiligen Signalpfad (Sl, S2) angeordneten Serienresonatoren und in Parallelzweigen an¬ geordneten Parallelresonatoren aufweist, wobei in den Parallelzweigen zwischen dem jeweiligen Pa¬ rallelresonator und Masse eine Impedanzkomponente (Z5, Z6, Z7, Z8, Z9, ZlO) angeordnet ist.
13.Frequenzweiche nach Anspruch 12, wobei mindestens zwei verschiedene Parallelzweige durch eine weitere Impedanzkomponente (Z14, Z15, Z16, Z17) e- lektrisch miteinander verbunden sind.
14.Frequenzweiche nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 13, wobei im ersten Signalpfad (Sl) vor und/oder nach dem ersten Filter (Fl) eine weitere Impedanzkomponente (ZIl, Z12) angeordnet ist.
15.Frequenzweiche nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 14, wobei im zweiten Signalpfad (S2) nach dem zweiten Filter (F2) eine weitere Impedanzkomponente (Z4) angeordnet ist.
16.Frequenzweiche nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 15, wobei die Resonanzfrequenz einer Schaltung, die aus den hintereinander geschalteten, im zweiten Signalpfad (S2) angeordneten Komponenten (Z13, Z2, Z3 , Rl) der Anpass¬ schaltung (MA) besteht, einer Durchgangsfrequenz des zweiten Filters (F2) entspricht.
17. Frequenzweiche nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 16, wobei der zweite Signalpfad (S2) ein Empfangspfad und der erste Signalpfad (Sl) ein Sendepfad ist.
18.Frequenzweiche nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 17, wobei die erste Impedanzkomponente (Zl) zur Ableitung ei¬ ner antennenseitig auftretenden Überspannung gegen Masse dient .
19.Frequenzweiche nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 18, wobei das erste und/oder das zweite Filter (Fl, F2) je¬ weils als ein Balun ausgeführt ist.
20.Frequenzweiche nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 19, wobei der mit akustischen Wellen arbeitende Resonator (Rl) ein mit akustischen Volumenwellen arbeitender Dünn¬ schichtresonator ist.
21.Frequenzweiche nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 19, wobei der mit akustischen Wellen arbeitende Resonator (Rl) mindestens einen mit akustischen Oberflächenwellen arbeitenden Wandler aufweist.
22.Frequenzweiche nach einem der Ansprüche 17 bis 19, wobei das erste Filter (Fl) mit akustischen Volumenwellen und das zweite Filter (F2) mit akustischen Oberflächen¬ wellen arbeitet.
