L’invention concerne un siège convertible pour une poussette, comprenant un cadre (10), une assise (1), un premier dossier (6), un second dossier (7) et un dispositif repose-pieds (12) comprenant un repose-pieds (4) et une liaison articulée (5) repliable, caractérisée en ce que le dit siège comprend en outre une barre de support de cadre (8) reliée de manière pivotante à ladite assise (1) au niveau de son extrémité inférieure et audit cadre (10) au niveau de son extrémité supérieure, l’extrémité frontale dudit dispositif repose-pieds (12) étant reliée de manière pivotante à l’extrémité frontale dudit cadre (10). Le siège convertible de la présente invention peut porter un bébé en position assise ou couchée.
