Abstract

The invention relates to a door-bolting device which is suitable for locks comprising a nose (2) through which an actuating square-sectioned bar (3) passes, said bar being actuated by an inner knob (5) and an outer knob (6). The invention comprises a locking bolt for closing/opening the lock and an unlocking bolt for opening the lock from outside the door. The invention is characterised in that the locking bolt comprises a first pin (7) which can move longitudinally and, in this way, produce the simultaneous, longitudinal movement of the square-sectioned bar (3, 3a, 3b) and the unlocking bolt (8) in order to disengage the bar from the nose (2) and close the lock at least in relation to actuation of the outer knob. According to the invention, the unlocking bolt comprises a second pin (8) which can move longitudinally and, in this way, produce the simultaneous, longitudinal movement of the square-sectioned bar (3, 3a, 3b) and the locking bolt in order to engage the bar in the nose (2) and open the lock.

Description

DEVICE FOR DOOR CONDEMNS OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The present invention, as expressed in the statement of this specification, refers to a device for condemning doors that is applied in those locks with condemnation and undock that are provided with a nut through which a square runs which is operated by a handle to perform the opening or closing of the door, such as the case of bathroom doors, and which is intended to allow the lock to be locked from the inside, so that from the outside the door cannot be opened, except in case of need if an accident occurs inside or any other event; and all this by means of the longitudinal displacement of the sentence or the deconditioning.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In the state of the art it is well known the use of locks that are provided with a conviction and an untrust to allow the lock of the lock to prevent the door from being opened from inside a room, closed by a door. from the outside and thus preserve the intimacy of the interior of the room, and at the same time in case of need, the door can be opened from the outside by means of the act of undoing it.

In this sense there are locks that comprise a nut through which a square runs that is operable both by the handle located outside the room, and by the handle located inside it, whose rotation causes angular displacement of the square, and consequently of the nut what causes the sliding of the slip to realize the opening of the door. In these cases different types of condemnation are used that act on the lock to prevent the opening of the door from the outside, but none of they allow the sentence to be condemned and dislodged by longitudinal displacement of the square that runs through the nut of the lock.

Accordingly, the invention allows the lock to be condemned and unlocked by longitudinally displacing the square so that the number of elements used in the device for locking / unlocking the lock is reduced.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION In order to achieve the aforementioned objectives, the invention has developed a new device for the condemnation of doors, which, like those mentioned in the interior section, is applicable to those locks through whose nut runs a drive square. said lock, and which in turn is operated by a handle selected between an inner and an outer handle to open / close the door, and comprising a condemnation provided on the side of the inner handle for locking / unlocking the lock and a decontamination provided on the side of the outer handle for unlocking the lock; the essential novelty of the device of the invention being characterized in that the condemnation is constituted by a first longitudinally movable rod in whose movement simultaneously and longitudinally displaces the square and unlocks it to disengage the nut square and block the lock at least when acting from the side of the outer handle. In addition, the device of the invention is characterized in that the decontamination is constituted by a second longitudinally movable rod in whose movement simultaneously and longitudinally displaces the square and the sentence to clutch the square in the nut and thus perform the unlocking of the lock, which allows the opening of the door from either side, that is from the inside or outside of the room closed by the door. In one embodiment of the invention it is envisioned that the square is provided with a longitudinal section of perimetrically curved surface, so that when the displacement of the square is made, the perimeter-curved surface is placed in the nut of the lock which produces the disengaging of the square with respect to the nut, and the consequent lock of the lock, since the square does not engage in the nut, so that the action of the lock causes its rotation, but by not engaging in the nut, the opening of the door is prevented, both from the inside and outside of the unit in which the door is installed.

In the preferred embodiment of the invention the perimeter curved surface of the longitudinal section of the square has a cylindrical configuration.

In another embodiment of the invention it is envisioned that the square is constituted by two adjacent independent longitudinal sections that are aligned, one of which is housed in the inner handle and the other in the outer handle, so that when the latter moves the sentence section housed in the outer handle, leaves the nut, and being independent of the other section, the nut is disengaged, so that the action of the outer handle provides the crazy twist of this square when not being located in the interior of the nut, and consequently the lock is locked before the action of the outer handle, and instead it is allowed to make the opening from the inner handle, since in this position in which the section of square that is housed in the outer handle is disengaged, the other square that is housed in the inner handle, is clutched in the nut of the lock, which allows to make the aper ture of it from inside the unit in which the door is installed. The invention provides that the sentence that is housed in the inner handle emerges from the outside and is finished off. by a stop extension. This stop also constitutes a means that facilitates the activation of the sentence to allow its longitudinal displacement as described above. In order for the sentence to remain in the locked or unlocked position, it is provided that it is provided with retention means in one of these two positions, which in the preferred embodiment of the invention consist of two perimetral notches, provided in the rod of the sentence in one of which a movable element provided in the inner handle is introduced, so that when moving the stem of the sentence the movable element leaves the notch in which it is housed until it is located in the next notch, holding the new position of the sentence fixed.

The preferred embodiment of the invention provides that both the conviction and the decondemnation are in solidarity with the square, to carry out the simultaneous displacement of these together with the square. To allow this simultaneous displacement, in the case where the square is constituted by two continuous independent longitudinal sections that are aligned, the invention provides that the section of the independent square housed in the outer handle is assisted by a spring that pushes said section to the position of clutch in the nut when the lock is unlocked from the inner side or the side of the sentence, thus carrying out the simultaneous displacement of the sentence, uncheck and squares. In order to facilitate a better understanding of this descriptive report and forming an integral part thereof, a series of figures are attached in which the object of the invention has been shown as an illustrative and non-limiting nature. DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT The following is a description of the invention based on the figures discussed above.

An exemplary embodiment is shown in Figure 1 in which a door portion 1 has been drawn that includes a lock provided with a nut 2 through which a square 3 that is provided with a longitudinal section 4 of cylindrical configuration runs. . In addition, the ends of the square 3, on the one hand are attached to a conviction 7, constituted by a first longitudinal rod and which is housed in a handle 5 corresponding to the handle located inside the room that closes the door 1, all so that the first rod of sentence 7 emerges outside the inner handle 5 and is finished off by an extension 9 that facilitates the drive and also constitutes a stop as it will be described later.

In addition, the first rod 7 is provided with two notches 10a and 10b that are complemented by a sphere 11 and a spring 12 housed in the inner handle 5 to keep the sentence 7 fixed in one of the two positions marked by the notches 10a and 10b as will be described later. The other end of the square 3 is integral with a decontamination 8 that is constituted by a second rod, all in such a way that it is housed in a handle 6 corresponding to the outside area of the room that is accessed by opening the door 1. In Based on the description given, it is easily understood that, for example, starting from the position of Figure 1, the sentence 7 is maintained in this fixed position by the location of the sphere 11 in the notch 10a, position in which the square 3 is engaged in the nut 2 of the lock and the unlocking 8 is hidden in the housing 13 of the outer handle 6.

In this position, whether it acts on the inner handle 5 or if it acts on the outer handle 6 causing its angular displacement, this displacement is transmitted to the square 3, which, when clutched with the nut 2, causes it to rotate, and consequently the displacement of the slip not shown, of the lock that makes it possible to open the door 1.

To condemn the lock the user must cause the longitudinal displacement of the sentence 7 which is facilitated by its extension 9, so that the sphere 11 the force that the spring 12 exerts on it and the slot 10a exits, so that the longitudinal displacement of the sentence 7 positions the sphere 11 in the slot 10b by the action of the spring 12. In the embodiment example this new position is favored because the extension 9 stops against the inner handle 5, and also the end of the square 3 located in the outer handle 6, contacts a step 14 of the housing 13a in which the square 3 is located, position in which the end of the decontamination 8 protrudes slightly from the outer handle 6 to indicate the lock of the lock, the lock of the lock and facilitate its activation, if necessary, as will be described.

When the longitudinal displacement of the square 3 occurs, the cylindrical longitudinal section 4 is located inside the nut 2, which causes the disengagement of the square 3, so that although either of the two handles 5, 6 is actuated, the rotation of the square 3 without it being engaged with the nut 2, therefore it does not act on the sliding of the door, and consequently it cannot be opened from either side.

To unlock the sentence the user must pull it to return to the original position and allow the door to be opened, but if for any circumstance it is required to open the door from the outside when the sentence is activated, that is, in the position represented in figure 2; by means of a tool the decontamination 8 can be pressed inwards causing the longitudinal displacement thereof, and consequently the square 3 and condemnation 7 returning to the position shown in figure 1.

The invention provides a second embodiment, shown in Figures 3 and 4, in which there is a difference with respect to the example of embodiment of Figures 1 and 2, that the square 3 is constituted by two sections contiguous independent longitudinal 3a and 3b, and furthermore, in this case, the decontamination 8 is assisted by a spring 16 that stops in the housing 13a of the handle and in the square 3a. Therefore, starting from the position of figure 3, the independent longitudinal sections 3a and 3b that constitute the square, are clutched in the nut 2, whereby the actuation of any of the handle 5 and 6 allows the door to open one.

To make the block of the lock, the user acts, as in the previous case, by longitudinally pushing the sentence 7, so that the sphere 11 leaves the notch 10a until it is introduced in the notch 10b, all of which expiring the action of the spring 16 and overcoming the action of the spring 16, which is pushed by the end of the independent longitudinal section 3a, until the sphere 11 is housed in the notch 10b and simultaneously the end of the square 3a abuts the step 14, and the extension 9 abuts the inner handle 5. In this position the independent longitudinal section 3a that constitutes the square is disengaged from the nut 2, so being independent of the section 3b, if the outer handle 6 is actuated the angular displacement of the square 3a that turns insane when not being clutched in the nut 2, which prevents the opening of the door from the outside, but on the contrary if it acts on the inner handle , the opening of the door is allowed, when the section 3b is clutch in the nut 2.

In this exemplary embodiment, it is necessary to open the door from the outside, when the sentence is activated, that is, in the position of figure 4, by means of a tool, press on the decontamination 8 that pushes independent longitudinal section 3b producing the clutch of the independent longitudinal section 3a as shown in figure 3. Starting from the position of figure 4, the user can deactivate the decontamination from the inside for what he must pull the sentence 7 outwards by returning to the position of figure 3, all of which is favored by the action of the spring 16 which it forces the independent longitudinal section 3a to return to the initial position in which it is engaged in nut 2.

Claims

1.- DEVICE FOR DOOR CONDEMNATION, applicable to locks through whose nut (2) runs a drive square of said lock, which in turn is operated by a handle selected between an inner handle (5) and an outer one (6) for opening / closing the door (1), and comprising a sentence provided on the side of the inner handle (5) for locking / unlocking the lock and an unlocking provided on the side of the outer handle (6) for unlocking the lock; characterized in that the condemnation is constituted by a first longitudinally movable rod (7) in whose movement it displaces the square (3, 3a, 3b) longitudinally and the decontamination (8) to disengage the square (3, 3a) of the nut (2) and lock the lock at least when acting from the side of the outer handle (6); and because the decontamination (8) is constituted by a second longitudinally movable rod (8) whose movement simultaneously and longitudinally displaces the square (3, 3a, 3b) and the sentence (7) to clutch the square (39, 3a) in the nut (2) and unlock the lock.
