Abstract

Street furniture set

The present invention relates to a set of street furniture comprising a support element, such as a lamppost mat or a signal pole, comprising an access door.

In the prior art, systems for closing and opening access hatches on urban furniture elements, such as streetlights, generally include a latch or latch as a means of locking said trap. The locking means are generally moved by the introduction of a traditional key into a conventional lock. The implementation of such systems poses various problems, in particular from an aesthetic point of view and from a safety and reliability point of view.

From an aesthetic point of view, a lock generally corresponds to a recessed section formed at the level of the street furniture door. This recessed section forms a home for a key. Thus, this recess breaks the smooth and regular character of such urban furniture and in addition testify to the presence of a hatch.

From a reliability point of view, the closing and opening hatch systems implementing a key to be inserted in a lock do not guarantee an optimal security. Indeed, the operation of such systems is very well known hence the multiplication of acts of vandalism committed on traps and on the possible devices contained within the street furniture. On the other hand, this ease of access to the interior of street furniture implies safety problems related to the handling of any electrical equipment contained inside the street furniture by unauthorized persons.

The present invention aims to provide a set of street furniture that does not reproduce the aforementioned drawbacks.

More particularly, the present invention aims to provide a set of street furniture with an access door able to perfectly merge with the overall look of the set of street furniture. The present invention also aims to provide a set of street furniture with a trapdoor without lock visible from the outside.

In addition, the present invention aims to provide a set of street furniture with secure and tamper-proof locking means.

The present invention also aims to provide a set of simple and inexpensive street furniture to manufacture and assemble.

The present invention therefore relates to a set of street furniture as described in claim 1. Advantageous features are set forth in the dependent claims.

Thus, the implementation of a magnetic member for moving the door allows to dispense with the presence of a traditional lock. The absence of a lock thus overcomes the aforementioned drawbacks of the prior art by guaranteeing a support element, such as a lamp post mast or a signal pole, having no crevice forming a receiving housing for a key adapted to move locking means. Thus, the support element has an access hatch inside thereof without a closure system and / or opening visible from the outside. The hatch of the support member may therefore have a completely smooth surface and its presence is more difficult to discern from the outside of the support member. This improves both the aesthetics and the security of the whole. In addition, the displacement of the locking means by means of a magnetic member ensures a closure system and / or opening the door reliable and safe.

Other features and advantages of the present invention will appear more clearly in the course of the following detailed description of an advantageous embodiment thereof, made with reference to the single accompanying drawing, given by way of nonlimiting example. . The set of street furniture according to the invention shown in the figure comprises a support member 2, a hatch 4 or the like and a closing and / or opening of the hatch system implementing locking means 1, 3 and a magnetic member 6. The support member 2 may for example be a lamp post mast or a signal pole, such as a traffic signal pole provided with any lighting system or any indication of light. Other elements are also conceivable, such as terminals, light columns, bus shelters, etc. The support member 2 may have any suitable configurations. For example, this element may be of cylindrical, spherical, parallelepiped or cubic configuration. The support member 2 comprises an outer face 20 and an inner face 21. The inner face 21 defines an interior, generally hollow, space in which son, cables, any connectors and the like are advantageously provided. The support element 2 comprises an access hatch 4 allowing access to the interior of said element 2.

The hatch 4 serves to close an opening formed at the support member 2. Thus, this hatch is comparable to a door formed at the support member 2 serving to access the interior of said element 2 itself.

This access is intended, for example, to carry out maintenance or replacement operations for the wires, cables or connectors housed in the interior volume of the element 2. This type of hatch is generally profiled in such a way as to conform to the overall configuration. of the support member 2 so as to be the least visible from the outside. This hatch 4 is movable between an open and closed position. This hatch 4 has an outer surface 40 and an inner surface 41. The outer surface 40 can come in the closed position to be in the continuity of the outer face 20 of the support member so as to best conceal the presence of said hatch 4.

Means for locking the hatch in the closed position are provided so as to prevent access to the interior of the support member 2 to all unauthorized persons and thus to secure the support member 2. According to the invention, these locking means are provided entirely within the support member 2, so that the hatch is almost completely invisible from the outside due to the absence of a lock visible from the outside. .

The locking means comprise a striker 3, a positioning member 22 and a bolt 1.

The striker 3 may comprise a locking wall 30, a crossbar 31 and a fixing wall 32. According to the example shown in the single figure, the locking wall 30 may extend substantially axially upwards from the cross member 31 and the fixing wall may extend substantially axially downwards from said crosspiece 31. The fixing wall 32 serves for fixing the keeper 3 on the inner face 41 of the hatch 4 according to the particular example shown. . This attachment can be achieved by any suitable means such as for example by screwing, gluing, welding, etc. It should be noted that the striker 3 could be made in one piece with the hatch 4 or with the support element 2 according to another conceivable embodiment. Likewise, the waste could have any other suitable shape, the shape of which is not critical for the present invention.

The bolt 1 may have any suitable configuration such as for example a parallelepiped, cylindrical, and so on. In the particular example shown, the bolt comprises an upper part 10 and a lower part 11. The upper part 10 has a rear face 100 and a front face 101.

The bolt 1 is adapted to cooperate with the magnetic member 6 to be moved by it. Advantageously, at least the front face 101 is provided with at least one magnet 102. It should be noted that the positioning and the volume occupied by the magnet does not matter as long as the bolt is magnetizable. The lower part 11 in the present embodiment has a smaller cross-section with respect to the upper part 10. This lower part may have a substantially frustoconical shape ending in a lower end 110 as illustrated in the figure but any suitable shapes could be considered. In fact, this section reduction results in this case of a radial and longitudinal cut in the thickness of the bolt. This cutting thus gives rise to the formation of an external recess (not shown) at the junction between the lower part 11 and the upper part 10. Of course, a lower part 11 having a narrowing of regular and continuous section is that is to say without recess, could very well be considered as well as many other appropriate forms.

A positioning member 22 is provided to at least partially accommodate the bolt 1, said bolt 1 being movable in said positioning member 22, in particular by sliding. This positioning member advantageously extends substantially transversely inside the support member 2 from the hatch 4. The positioning member 22 has a through bore extending substantially vertically in the axis of the support element 2.

The bolt 1 can be positioned in the through bore of the positioning member 22. The bolt 1 can then be retained at this positioning member 22 by means of its external recess abutting on the positioning member 22. In this position, the bolt 1 is then advantageously adapted to cooperate with the striker 3 to maintain the hatch 4 in the closed position. Indeed, the lower end 110 of the bolt, in the closed position of the hatch 4, is advantageously held captive between the locking wall of the striker 3 and the inner face 41 of the hatch 4 so as to prevent the opening of said hatch. According to the invention, the bolt 1 is movable from one position to another from outside the support member 2 by the magnetic member 6. The magnetic member 6 comprises, according to the embodiment shown, a handle 60 and a head 61. The handle 60 serves to grip said magnetic member 6. The head 61 is provided with a magnet 610 capable of interacting with the magnet 102 of the bolt 1. It should be noted that the shape of the organ magnetic is not critical to the present invention. The interaction of the magnets 102 and 610, of reversed polarities, makes it possible to move said bolt with respect to the positioning member 22 and to the striker 3. To do this, the magnetic member 6 disposed at the outside of the support element 2 is advantageously placed close to the bolt 1. The approximation of the organ of the magnetic member 6 has the effect of causing the magnet 610 of said member 6 to interact with the magnet 102 of the 1. In some cases, it will be possible or necessary to apply the magnetic member against the outer face 20 of the support member 2 and / or against the outer surface 40 of the door 4 substantially vis-à-vis of the bolt 1 and then sliding said member 6 on said member 2 and / or said hatch 4 to move said bolt 1. The displacement of the magnetic member 6 then drives according to the embodiment shown, an axial sliding upwards of the bolt 1 in the positioning member 42. This sliding then allows the lower end 110 of the lower part 11 of the bolt to disengage the striker 3 to allow the hatch 4 to pass into the open position. In this case, the bolt must be extracted almost completely from the positioning member 22 to allow the opening of the hatch 4. In order to reposition the hatch 4 in the closed position, the bolt 1 can be replaced at the level of the striker 3 under the effect of gravity by moving the magnetic member 6 away from the bolt 1.

Alternatively, to facilitate the repositioning of the locking means during the closing of the hatch 4, it can be provided a return means, such as a spring, adapted to request the reinsertion of the bolt 1 at the striker 3. In this case, the hatch is opened by moving the bolt 1 against the force exerted by the biasing means. According to another variant, at least one projection or a continuous or discontinuous annular bead may be provided at the bolt to limit the axial displacement of the bolt relative to the positioning member. Thus, said at least one projection or said annular bead will define a maximum axial displacement limited by the abutment of the projection or the bead against the positioning member. This stop then prevents the total extraction of the bolt from the positioning member.

On the other hand, it should be noted that it may be envisaged to modify the arrangement of the locking means, the striker being able to be placed on the inner surface of the support member and the positioning member housing the bolt can be located on the inner face of the hatch, above the striker 3. The displacement of the hatch 4 between its open position and its closed position can then result as previously described of an elevational movement of the bolt relative to the positioning member under the action of the magnetic member.

On the other hand, although the present invention refers to a bolt axially displaceable by sliding relative to a positioning member and a strike, it can also be envisaged that the bolt is mobile in rotation about an anchor point. located either at the level of the support element or at the level of the hatch. In this case, the magnetic member can be used to pivot the bolt to disengage the striker to cause the hatch to open or to engage in the keeper to close said hatch.

It should be noted that the invention also applies to any closure element in the broad sense, including including lids and the like rather than an access door.

Although the present invention has been described with reference to a particular embodiment thereof, it is understood that it is not limited by the examples described above.
