Abstract

The invention relates to a device for the controlled release of products contained under pressure, which, regardless of the position of the container in relation to the horizontal, only allows (i) the release of the contents in the gaseous state or (ii) the release of the product and not the propellant. The inventive device, which is disposed inside the container, operates under the effect of gravity, affecting a weight that is built into a block which, by means of an elbow pipe, suitably directs the position of the end of a tube through which the product is released from inside the container in a controlled manner.

Description

"DISPOSITIVO PARA LA DESCARGA CONTROLADA DE PRODUCTOS CONTENIDOS A PRESIÓN." "DEVICE FOR CONTROLLED DISCHARGE OF PRODUCTS CONTAINED BY PRESSURE."
Objeto de la invenciónObject of the invention
The object of the present invention is to provide consumers with products contained under pressure such as portable gas bottles or the products that are required to be sprayed in which both gas leakage is inconvenient. in a liquid state like that of the propellant gas instead of the product when the container is changed position because the conductive tube through which it is evacuated from the bottom of the container itself, can be pointing down or up causing problems mentioned respectively, because in the first case the gas comes out in a liquid state and in the second, the propellant comes out and not the product.
A device for the controlled unloading of products contained under pressure that, in order to solve the aforementioned problems, focuses its characteristics on the fact that regardless of the position that the container holds with respect to the horizontal, the conductive tube will only allow the exit of the gas in a state gas in the case of that this is the content of the container or only that of the product as in the case of paint cans and not of the propellant avoiding in the first case that the gas in a liquid state leaves the container causing problems such as the extinction of the flame and the consequent possibility of explosions when changing the position of the container (specific case of torches, torches and portable stoves operated with small gas tanks) and in the second case when the propellant gas is mixed with the paint that is being sprayed it records flow rates or different flows causing drops of very large size which affect irregularities such as bumps on the surface in demerit of the gloss or smoothness of the finish.
Antecedentes de la invenciónBackground of the invention
In the field of products contained in pressurized containers and more specifically in those of those that are applied by spreading them by means of a propellant that expels them under pressure (paints, insecticides, deodorants, etc.) and in which self propel to leave the container to be used as is * the case of combustible gases, the most advanced solution consists of cylindrical containers that count with a valve on its upper face whereby the product is expelled at the will of the user, which in both cases is disadvantageous because if it is for example a portable blowtorch or a stove when changing the position of the container with respect to the horizontal Its combustible content can be expelled in a liquid and non-gaseous state causing the flame to extinguish or, worse, that an explosion is generated by the high amount of fuel can be expelled in an instant. On the other hand, in the case of the paint deposit on some surface, for example, if the container is tilted with respect to the horizontal, the paint may stop coming out and when changing position again, leave abruptly, expelling lumps; which in both cases is disadvantageous. In order to solve this and other inconveniences, the development of the present invention was considered, which focuses its characteristics on the fact that by means of this device, regardless of the position of the container with respect to the horizontal, it will always selectively eject whichever is more convenient, for example, gas precisely in a gaseous state and only in that state or only paint or the product in question and never the propellant alone. To complement the description that is being made and in order to help a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, the present description is attached as an integral part of it with the drawings in which the same sign serves to refer to the same parts that they integrate it and in those that with illustrative and not limiting character the following has been represented:
Figure 1 shows, by means of a longitudinal section, the container in an upright position with the device for the selective evacuation of the gaseous content installed.
Figure 2- shows by means of a longitudinal section of the same container in an inclined position the position that the elbow pipe takes and thanks to which the selective evacuation of the gaseous content is achieved by discriminating the liquid content.
Figure 3- shows by means of a longitudinal section of the same container in a horizontal position the way in which the bent tube still in this position allows the selective evacuation of the gaseous content. Figure 4- shows by means of another longitudinal section the device in its variant that selectively evacuates only the liquid content discriminating the propellant.
Realización preferente de la invenciónPreferred Embodiment of the Invention
In view of these figures it can be seen that this device consists of a pivot (1) made of some synthetic polymer either thermoplastic and thermofixed in which the longitudinal axis predominates which is inserted in the concentric housing present in the upper cover ( 2) of the container and that in order to house the valve and the evacuation duct commonly carry the containers of pressurized products. Pivot (1) that is fixed in position by means of the sealed incisions (3) formed in the wall of the concentric housing of the cover containing the pressure that the spring (4) exerts supported by the cylindrical box inside the end of the pivot itself (1) and with the intermediation of the sliding plug (5) against the annular gasket (6), keeping the container closed as long as no pressure is exerted from the outside inwards on the sliding plug (5). The set mentioned allows the container to be filled or evacuated at will. In order to control or discriminate the condition in which the product has to be evacuated from the container and even to prevent the propellant from leaving instead of the product. This device uses as a pivot axis to direct the end of the evacuation duct to the pivot itself (1) but in this case, said pivot has a decrease in its predominant diameter that forms the annular groove (7) approximately one third of its length which is located closer to the end by which the pivot is held in the upper lid (2) of the container, has the purpose of receiving the small teeth (8) that serve to maintain position and allowing the rotation of the block (9) which in turn is intended with the help of weight (10) always maintain its position with respect to the horizontal plane.
This constant position of the block (9) because the weight (10) always tends to be in the lower part with respect to the pivot (1) is precisely what makes it possible to select the product or the state in which it is evacuated. of the container
As can be seen in all the figures, the end of the pivot (1) opposite to that by which it is fixed to the upper lid (2) of the container registers a decrease in its diameter that has the annular widening (11) allows the assembly of the flexible hose (12) avoiding that it can detach from pivot (1) allowing the conduction inside it under controlled conditions the product that is intended to evacuate from, container or either of the condition in which this one wishes to evacuate.
The routing of the flexible hose (12) in the upward or downward direction is carried out by the angled tubular end (13) of the block (9) because as mentioned the assembly formed by the block itself (9), the weight (10 ) and its angled tubular end (13), rotate freely around the pivot (1) as the weight (10) will always tend to remain below the pivot (1) by the force of gravity.
As seen in Figures 1, 2 and 3 the selection that this device carries out is that of the gaseous state content (14) by virtue of the fact that in these illustrations the device by means of the angled tube (13) and the weight ( 10) keeps the open end (15) of the flexible hose (12) always pointing towards the top inside the container while the contents remain in liquid state (16) at the bottom by the force of gravity, previous regardless of the position that the container holds with respect to the horizontal.
In the event that what is desired is to only evacuate the product in a liquid state (17) as shown in Figure 4 discriminating against the propellant (always less dense than the product itself), Figure 4 shows the variant of this device thanks to which the open end (15) of the flexible hose (12) always points towards the bottom of the container reaching the bottom of it because the hose itself (12) has the tubular extension (18) and by action of the angled tubular end (13) points in the same direction as the weight (10), that is to say always downwards by the force of gravity in the latter case reaching the bottom of the container so that under any circumstances the content is evacuated by complete before the propellant can leave the inside of the container.
