Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Kapillaren, die zumindest teilweise mit Metallfolie ummantelt sind sowie deren Einsatz bei der Kopplung von Verfahren wie HPLC, CE (Kapillarelektrophorese), CEC (Kapillarelektrochromatographie) oder pCEC (pressurized CEC) mit MS (Massenspektrometrie). Durch die erfindungsgemässe Ummantelung mit Metallfolie ist eine direkte Kopplung der Kapillaren an ein Massenspektrometer ohne Verwendung weiterer Übergangsstücke, wie Spraynadeln oder Leerkapillarstücken, möglich.
