Abstract

L'invention porte sur un procédé et un appareil de récolte de pois chiches frais. Selon l'invention, une moissonneuse-batteuse (100) comprend un appareil de battage (130) qui comprend un tambour cylindrique rotatif (132) muni d'une paroi extérieure (134) comportant des ouvertures, un batteur principal (140) et une pluralité de batteurs satellites (144, 146, 148), un système convoyeur (120, 122, 124) qui transporte les pois chiches égrenés vers une trémie (111), et un convoyeur de gousses à mailles (126) qui filtre les pois chiches pénétrant dans la trémie. Une goulotte de retour (128) renvoie les pois chiches égrenés en provenance du convoyeur de gousses à mailles vers le tambour. Les ouvertures dans le tambour possèdent une taille qui va en augmentant depuis de petites ouvertures à l'avant du tambour jusqu'à des ouvertures plus grandes à l'arrière du tambour. Les paramètres de fonctionnement de la moissonneuse-batteuse, du tambour et du batteur sont choisis de telle manière qu'ils permettent une récolte mécanique efficace des pois chiches frais.
