従来より、 消費者が購入した各種の商品については消費者による適切な処分が 要求されている。 すなわち、 消費者による購入後にゴミとなる各種の商品につい て、 例えば、 アルミのドリンク缶は中を洗ってから資源ゴミとして処分し、 ぺッ トボトルはラベルを外してから燃やせないゴミとして処分し、 冷 庫や T Vはい わゆる家電リサイク /レ法に沿つて処分することなどが要求されている。
このような商品の適切なる処分を狙った従来技術として、 例えば、 特許文献 1 (特開 2 0 0 2— 1 6 3 4 2 2号公報） では、 各自治体、 各家庭、 各製造業者等 とネットワークで結ばれるサービス提供会社内のサーバが、 製品を廃棄する際の ごみ分別処理方法を該製品の広告と兼ねた態様で提示する 「ごみ分別処理方法提 示データ」 を作成し、 該データをパレフレットとして印刷出力させることでごみ 分別処理方法を提示するサーバシステムが開示されている。

しかしながら、 上記したようなサーバシステムによっても、 消費者が商品の処 分の手順等を理解することは容易ではなく、 消費者において資源の有効活用ゃク リーンな環境作りに積極的に協力することは困難であった。
その一方で、 近年に至っては、 環境問題が人類にとって避けられない問題にな つている。 そして、 商品メーカにおいては、 環境問題に対する取り組み方次第で 株価に影響を及ぼすこともあり、 そのために廃棄やリサイクルに要する経費を商 品代金に上乗せせざるを得ないという問題まで生じており、 また、 自治体におい ては、 ゴミの不法投棄ゃリサイクルに関して膨大な予算を費やしている。
このようなことから、 消費者による適切な処分が要求される商品 （つまり、 消 費者による購入後にゴミとなった各種の商品） について、 その商品の処分手順な どを消費者に対して如何にして理解させるかが極めて重要な課題になっており、 望ましくは、 資源の有効活用ゃクリーンな環境作りを促進させる枠組みが必要と されている。
そこで、 この発明は、 上述した従来技術による問題点を解消するためになされ たものであり、 商品の処分に関する消費者の理解を容易にして、 資源の有効活用 ゃクリーンな環境作りに対する消費者の積極的な協力を推進することができる商 品情報提供装置を提供することを目的とする。 発明の開示
本発明は、 消費者による適切な処分が要求される商品に関する各種の情報を消 費者のクライアント装置に対してネットワークを介して提供する商品情報提供装 置であって、 前記商品の処分に関する教育を前記消費者に対して前記クライアン ト装置を通じて実施する教育実施手段と、 前記教育実施手段によつて前記消費者 に対して実施された教育の進埗状況を履歴として記憶する教育履歴記憶手段と、 を備えたことを特徴とする。
この発明によれば、 商品の処分に関する教育を消費者に対してクライアント装 置を通じて実施し、 消費者に対して実施された教育の進埗状況を履歴として記憶 する。 したがって、 商品の処分に関する消費者の理解を容易にして、 資源の有効 活用ゃクリーンな環境作りに対する消費者の積極的な協力を推進することが可能 になる。 さらに、 これによつて、 商品メーカや自治体が環境問題に費やす負担を 軽減して、 資源の有効活用ゃクリーンな環境作りを促進することも可能になる。 また、 本発明は、 上記の発明において、 前記教育実施手段は、 前記消費者が選 択した商品の種別に応じた教育を実施することを特徴とする。

また、 本発明は、 上記の発明において、 前記教育実施手段は、 前記消費者が選 択した地域に応じた教育を実施することを特徴とする。

また、 本発明は、 上記の発明において、 前記教育実施手段は、 前記消費者に対 して既に実施されて前記教育履歴記憶手段によつて記憶された教育の履歴に応じ た教育を実施することを特 ί敷とする。

また、 本発明は、 上記の発明において、 前記利益供与手段は、 前記商品の購入 に際して適用可能な割引、 クーポンおよび/またはボイントを前記所定の利益と して供与することを特徴とする。
この発明によれば、 商品の購入に際して適用可能な割引、 クーポンおよび Zま たはポイントを所定の利益として供与する。 したがって、 商品購入時に得られる 直接的'な利益をィンセンティブにして消費者の教育意欲を直接的に刺激すること で、 消費者による理解を一層効果的に向上させることが可能になる。
また、 本発明は、 上記の発明において、 前記利益供与手段は、 前記消費者が選 択した地域において適用可能な利益を前記所定の利益として供与することを特徴 とする。

以下に添付図面を参照して、 この発明に係る商品情報提供装置、 さらに、 これ と同様の機能を実現する商品情報提供方法および商品情報提供プログラムの好適 な実施の形態を詳細に説明する。 なお、 以下では、 本発明を実現するための教育 システムを実施の形態として掲げ、 本実施の形態で用いる主要な用語を最初に説 明してから、 力かる教育システムの概要および特徴を説明し、 これに続いて、 こ の教育システムの全体処理の流れを説明し、 さらに教育システムにおける教育サ ーバ装置おょぴ店舗サーバ装置についてその構成および処理を説明し、 最後に他 の実施の形態として種々の変形例を説明する。
(用語の説明）
以下に、 本実施の形態で用いる主要な用語を簡単に説明する。 本実施の形態で 用いる 「商品」 とは、 消費者による適切な処分が要求される商品のことを指し、 例えば、 アルミのドリンク缶、 ペットボトル、 冷蔵庫や T Vなど、 消費者による 購入後にゴミとなる各種の商品がこれに該当する。
また、 本実施の形態で用いる 「教育」 とは、 上記したような商品の処分に関し て、 インターネットを利用して実施される教育 （e - learning) のことを指し、 例 えば、 「家電リサイクル法とは？」 や 「ペットボトルのリサイクル」 など、 商品 の適切な処分 （適切な廃棄やリサイクルの手順など） を理解するのに役立つ教育 講座がこれに該当する。
(教育システムの概要およぴ特徴）
次に、 第 1図を用いて、 本実施の形態に係る教育システムの概要および特徴を 説明する。 第 1図は、 本実施の形態に係る教育システムの全体構成を示すシステ ム構成図である。 同図に示すように、 本実施の形態に係る教育システムは、 教育 機関が有する教育サーバ装置 1 0と、 消費者が有する消費者端末装置 2 0と、 店 舗が有する店舗サーバ装置 3 0とを、 インターネットなどのネットワーク 1を介 して相互に通信可能に接続して構成される。
かかる教育システムは、 概略的に、 教育サーバ装置 1 0と店舗サーバ装置 3 0 とが提携して、 店舗が販売する各種の商品 （消費者による購入後に適切な処分が 要求される商品） に関する各種の情報を消費者の消費者端末装置 2 0に対してネ ットワーク 1を介して提供するものである。 なお、 消費者端末装置 2 0は、 例え ば、 パーソナルコンピュータやワークステーション、 家庭用ゲーム機、 インター ネット T V、 P D A, あるいは携帯電話や P H Sの如き移動体通信端末である。 そして、 かかる教育システムにおいては、 教育サーバ装置 1 0による処理に主 たる特徴があり、 具体的には、 消費者による購入後にゴミとなる各種の商品につ いて、 その商品の適切な処分 （適切な廃棄やリサイクルの手順など） を理解する のに役立つ教育を、 消費者に対して消費者端末装置 2 0を通じて実施する。 つま り、 教育サーバ装置 1 0では、 かかる教育を通じて、 商品の処分に関する消費者 の理解を容易にし、 資源の有効活用ゃクリーンな環境作りに対する消費者の積極 的な協力を推進することができるようにしている。 したがって、 商品メーカゃ自 治体が環境問題に費やす負担を軽減して、 資源の有効活用やクリーンな環境作り を促進することも可能になる。
さらに、 本実施の形態に係る教育システムにおいては、 上記の主たる特徴に関 連して、 以下に述べるような特徴も付加的に備える。 教育サーバ装置 1 0では、 消費者に対して教育の成果を試すための試験を実施する。 つまり、 教育を受ける 消費者の意欲を試験によつて刺激するとともに、 消費者による理解の程度を試験 によって客観的に示すことで、 消費者による理解を効果的に向上させつつ強固な ものにすることができるようにしている。
また、 店舗サーバ装置 3 0では、 教育サーバ装置 1 0による教育を受けた消費 者に対して、 教育対象の商品を購入する際に割引を行う。 つまり、 商品購入時に 得られる直接的な利益をィンセンティブにして消費者の教育意欲を直接的に刺激 することで、 消費者による理解を一層効果的に向上させることができるようにし ている。
(教育システムの全体処理）
次に、 第 2図を用いて、 本実施の形態に係る教育システムの全体処理の流れを 説明する。 第 2図は、 教育システムの全体処理の流れを示すフローチャートであ る。 先ずは、 第 1 4図に示すような内容の商品ラベルが添付された商品を購入し、 教育サーバ装置 1 0による教育コースに興味を持った消費者は、 第 2図に示すよ うに、 自己の消費者端末装置 2 0を介して教育サーバ装置 1 0にアクセスし、 第 1 5図 （a ) に示すような画面を通じて教育コースの受講を申し込む （ステップ S 2 0 1 ) 。
かかる受講の申込が行われると、 教育サーバ装置 1 0は、 申し込まれた教育コ ースに応じて、 各受講生に対して商品の廃棄やリサイクルの手順等に関する e - Learning を実施する (ステップ S 2 0 2 ) 。 そして、 かかる教育が終了すると 教育サーバ装置 1 0は、 受講生に対して確認テストを実施して、 力かる確認テス トの結果などを含んだ受講情報を登録する （ステップ S 2 0 3 ) 。 なお、 教育サ —バ装置 1 0では、 テスト終了後の受講者の消費者端末装置 2 0に対して、 第 1 5図 （b ) に示すように、 受講終了によって値引き対象となった商品の一覧等を 示した通知も送信する。
その一方、 店舗サーバ装置 3 0では、 消費者の消費者端末装置 2 0から商品の 購入申込を受け付けると (ステップ S 2 0 4 ) 、 顧客が購入申込みした商品が値 引き対象であって、 該当する教育コースを受講済みである否かをチェックする （ ステップ S 2 0 5 ) 。 その結果、 店舗サーバ装置 3 0では、 顧客が該当の教育コ ースを受講済みでない場合には （ステップ S 2 0 5否定） 、 割引なしで商品を販 売し （ステップ S 2 0 6 ) 、 これとは反対に、 該当の教育コースを受講済みであ る場合には （ステップ S 2 0 5肯定） 、 教育コース受講による値引きを行って商 品を販売する （ステップ S 2 0 7 ) 。
上述してきたようにして、 消費者は、 教育サーバ装置 1 0による e- Learning を通じて商品の適切な処分手順を容易に理解することができ、 さらに、 教育コー ス受講による値引きを受けつつ商品を購入することができる。 その結果、 資源の 有効活用ゃクリ一ンな環境作りに対する消費者の積極的な協力が推進され、 商品 メーカ '消費者.自治体'教育機関の全てのプレイヤにおいて W i n -W i n関 係が保たれる。 なお、 教育機関の教育実施費用や店舗の値引き費用は、 自治体か らの税金の還付、 補助金、 助成金等で充当するようにしてもよい。 (教育サーバ装置の構成およぴ処理）
次に、 第 3図〜第 8図を用いて、 本実施の形態に係る教育システムにおける教 育サーバ装置 1 0の構成おょぴ処理を説明する。 第 3図は、 教育サーバ装置 1 0 の構成を示すブロック図である。 同図に示すように、 この教育サーバ 1 0は、 ネ ットワーク 1を介して消費者端末装置 2 0や店舗サーバ装置 3 0との間でやり取 りするデータに関する通信を制御する通信制御 I F部 1 1と、 以下に詳細に説明 する記憶部 1 2および制御部 1 3と力 ら構成される。
記憶部 1 2は、 制御部 1 3による各種処理に必要なデータ （例えば、 消費者端 末装置 2 0に送信表示する W e bデータなど） およびプログラムを格納する格納 手段 （記憶手段） であり、 特に本発明に密接に関連するものとして、 機能概念的 に、 顧客マスタ 1 2 aと、 教育コースマスタ 1 2 bと、 受講マスタ 1 2 cと、 値 引き表 1 2 dとを備える。

教育コースマスタ 1 2 bは、 教育サーバ装置 1 0が実施する教育に関する各種 の情報を記憶する手段であり、 具体的には、 第 5図に例示するように、 各教育コ ースのコース番号に対応づけて、 コース名の他に、 各教育コースに含まれる教育 コンテンッ （消費者端末装置 2 0に対して送信表示されるメールデータや W e b データなど） などを記憶して構成される。
なお、 各教育コンテンツの内容は、 商品の適切な処分 （適切な廃棄やリサイク ルの手順など） を理解するのに役立つ教育講座であるが、 具体的には、 ゴミとし ての分別基準 （例えば、 燃やせるゴミ、 燃やせないゴミ、 リサイクル可能な資源 ゴミ、 家電リサイクル法の対象ゴミのいずれになる力等） やゴミの出し方 （例え ば、 アルミのドリンク缶は中を洗い、 ペットポトルはラベルを外す等) などを教 える実践的な教育だけでなく、 適切な処分を行った場合のメリット （例えば、 自 治体の経費削減や環境の保護等） や適切な処分を行わなかった場合のデメリット (例えば、 自治体の経費増大や環境の破壌等） などを教える社会的な教育 （モラ ル向上を狙った教育） も含まれる。
受講マスタ 1 2 cは、 受講者に対して実施された教育の進涉状況を履歴として 記憶する手段であり、 具体的には、 第 6図に例示するように、 受講番号に対応づ けて、 顧客番号、 コース番号およびコース名を記憶するとともに、 受講開始日、 受講終了日、 テスト終了日、 テスト結果、 受講終了フラグ （終了前は 「0」 ) な どを記憶して構成される。
値引き表 1 2 dは、 教育コース受講による値引に関する情報を記憶する手段で あり、 具体的には、 第 7図に例示するように、 各商品の商品番号に対応づけて、 商品名、 値引き対象の教育コースの番号、 教育コース名、 値引き率などを記憶し て構成される。
続いて、 第 3図に示す教育サーバ装置 1 0の制御部 1 3の説明に入ると、 この 制御部 1 3は、 O S (Operating System) などの制御プログラム、 各種の処理手 順などを規定したプログラム （例えば、 顧客の認証プログラムなど） および所要 データを格納するための内部メモリを有し、 これらによって種々の処理を実行す る処理部であり、 特に本発明に密接に関連するものとして、 機能概念的に、 情報 登録部 1 3 aと、 教育実施部 1 3 bとを備える。
このうち、 情報登録部 1 3 aは、 記憶部 1 2の顧客マスタ 1 2 a、 教育コース マスタ 1 2 b、 受講マスタ 1 2 cおよび値引き表 1 2 dに対して該当の情報を登 録する処理部である。 なお、 顧客マスタ 1 2 aおよび受講マスタ 1 2 cに対して は、 後述の教育実施部 1 3 bと連携して情報の登録を行う。
教育実施部 1 3 bは、 第 8図に示すように、 教育の実施に関して各種処理を行 う処理部である。 すなわち、 最初に教育実施部 1 3 bでは、 第 1 5図 （a ) に示 すような内容を消費者端末装置 2 0に送信表示しながら、 消費者の消費者端末装 置 2 0から教育コースの受講申込みを受け付けて、 顧客マスタ 1 2 a (第 4図参 照） に消費者の個人情報を登録するとともに、 受講マスタ 1 2 c (第 6図参照） に受講申込に係る情報を登録する。 続けて、 顧客ごとに実施する教育コンテンツ
(教育コース） を教育コースマスタ 1 2 b (第 5図 （a ) 参照） から読み出し、 第 1 5図 （ b ) に示すような内容を消費者端末装置 2 0に送信表示 （メール送信 や W e bデータの送信など） して、 各受講生 （顧客） に対して e-Learning によ る教育を実施する。
そして、 かかる教育が終了すると、 教育実施部 1 3 bは、 受講生に対して教育 の成果を試すための試験 （確認テスト） を実施し、 その後に、 受講マスタ 1 2 c (第 6図参照） に対して、 かかる確認、テストの結果など （すなわち、 テスト終了 日、 テスト結果、 受講終了フラグ 「0」 、 キーワード） を受講履歴として登録す る。 また、 教育実施部 1 3 bは、 テスト終了後の受講者の消費者端末装置 2 0に 対して、 受講終了によって値引き対象となった商品の一覧等を含んだ DM (ダイ レクトメール） を通知する。
なお、 力かる教育実施部 1 3 bによる処理に続いて、 教育サーバ装置 1 0では、 受講マスタ 1 2 cに登録された受講情報を店舗サーバ装置 3 0に対して送信する。 その結果、 店舗サーバ装置 3 0は、 教育サーバ装置 1 0と同期して、 上記の受講 情報を後述の受講マスタ 3 2 cに記憶する。
(店舗サーバ装置の構成および処理） .
次に、 第 9図〜第 1 3図を用いて、 本実施の形態に係る教育システムにおける 店舗サーバ装置 3 0の構成および処理を説明する。 第 9図は、 店舗サーバ装置 3 0の構成を示すブロック図である。 同図に示すように、 この店舗サーバ装置 3 0 は、 ネットワーク 1を介して消費者端末装置 2 0や教育サーバ装置 1 0との間で やり取りするデータに関する通信を制御する通信制御 I F部 3 1と、 以下に詳細 に説明する記憶部 3 2およぴ制御部 3 3とから構成される。
記憶部 3 2は、 制御部 3 3による各種処理に必要なデータ （例えば、 消費者端 末装置 2 0に送信表示する W e bデータなど） およぴプログラムを格納する格納 手段 （記憶手段） であり、 特に本発明に密接に関連するものとして、 機能概念的 に、 顧客マスタ 3 2 aと、 商品マスタ 3 2 bと、 受講マスタ 3 2 cと、 値引き表 3 2 dと、 会計マスタ 3 2 eとを備える。
このうち、 顧客マスタ 3 2 aは、 消費者 （顧客） に関する各種の個人情報を記 憶する手段であり、 具体的には、 第 1 0図に例示するように、 各消費者の顧客番 号に対応づけて、 氏名、 住所、 電話、 メール、 クレジット番号などを記憶して構 成される。 なお、 この顧客マスタ 3 2 aは、 教育サーバ装置 1 0の顧客マスタ 1
2 aと同期させることで同様の情報を記憶するようにしてもよい。
商品マスタ 3 2 bは、 店舗サーバ装置 3 0によって販売される商品に関する各 種の情報を記憶する手段であり、 具体的には、 第 1 1図に例示するように、 各商 品の商品番号に対応づけて、 商品名、 定価などを記憶して構成される。
受講マスタ 3 2 cは、 教育サーバ装置 1 0の受講マスタ 1 2 cと同期して、 受 講者に対して実施された教育の進涉状況を履歴として記憶する手段であり、 具体 的には、 第 6図に例示したものと同様に構成される。 また、 値引き表 1 2 dは、 教育コース受講による値引に関する情報を記憶する手段であり、 具体的には、 第 7図に例示したものと同様に構成される。
会計マスタ 3 2 eは、 店舗サーバ装置 3 0による販売実績に関する各種の情報 を記憶する手段であり、 具体的には、 第 1 2図に例示するように、 各顧客の顧客 番号に対応づけて、 各顧客に販売された商品の商品番号、 商品名、 定価、 値引き 額、 会計日時などを記憶して構成される。
続いて、 第 9図に示す店舗サーノく装置 3 0の制御部 3 3の説明に入ると、 この 制御部 3 3は、 O S (Operating System) などの制御プログラム、 各種の処理手 順などを規定したプログラム （例えば、 顧客の認証プログラムなど） および所要 データを格納するための内部メモリを有し、 これらによって種々の処理を実行す る処理部であり、 特に本発明に密接に関連するものとして、 機能概念的に、 情報 登録部 3 3 aと、 会計教育実施部 3 3 bとを備える。
このうち、 情報登録部 3 3 aは、 記憶部 3 2の顧客マスタ 3 2 a、 商品マスタ
3 2 b、 受講マスタ 3 2 c、 値引き表 3 2 dおよび会計マスタ 3 2 eに対して該 当の情報を登録する処理部である。 なお、 会計マスタ 3 2 eに対しては、 後述の 会計実施部 3 3 bと連携して情報の登録を行う。
会計実施部 3 3 bは、 第 1 3図に示すように、 商品の販売 （受講に基づく値引 き販売） に関する各種の処理を行う処理部である。 すなわち、 最初に会計実施部 3 3 bでは、 消費者の消費者端末装置 2 0から入力された顧客情報および購入希 望の商品情報を読み取ると、 割引対象になる力否かをチェックする。 具体的には、 受講マスタ 3 2 cおよび値引き表 3 2 dを参照し、 顧客が購入しようとしている 商品に対応する教育コースを既に受講済みであるかをチェックする。
続いて、 会計実施部 3 3 bでは、 例えば、 受講マスタ 3 2 cのテスト終了日か ら 1年間を割引可能な有効期限であると設定されているとして、 値引が有効期限 内である力否かをチェックする。 そして、 値引き表 3 2 dを参照して、 購入商品 の値引き額を算出し、 これを会計マスタ 3 2 e (第 1 2図参照） に登録するとと もに、 会計に関するその他のデータ （会計日時や合計金額等） も会計マスタ 3 2 eに登録して会計処理を終了する。
(；他の実施の形態）
さて、 これまで本発明の実施の形態について説明したが、 本発明は上述した実 施の形態以外にも、 上記特許請求の範囲に記載した技術的思想の範囲内において 種々の異なる実施の形態にて実施されてもよいものである。 そこで、 以下に示す ように、 （1 ) 商品対象、 （2 ) 教育実施、 ( 3 ) 消費者の利益、 （4 ) システ ム構成等、 （5 ) プログラム、 にそれぞれ区分けして異なる実施の形態を説明す る。
( 1 ) 商品対象
例えば、 本実施の形態では、 教育システムにおいて主にリサイクルの対象とな る商品を扱う場合を説明したが、 本発明はこれに限定されるものではなく、 例え ば、 生ゴミゃ粗大ゴミ、 産業廃棄物など、 消費者による購入後にゴミとなって消 費者による適切な処分が要求されるあらゆる商品を扱う場合に同様に適用するこ とができる。
( 2 ) 教育実施 また、 本実施の形態では、 顧客に教育コース （教育コンテンツ） を選択させる 場合を説明したが、 本発明はこれに限定されるものではなく、 顧客から商品 （購 入予定の商品など） の選択を受け付け、 力かる商品の処分に対応する教育コース を選択して実施するようにしてもよい。 このように、 例えば、 ゴミとしての分別 や出し方等を商品の材料等に応じて教育することで、 商品の処分に関する消費者 の理解を商品の種別に応じた適切なものにすることが可能になる。
また、 顧客に教育を実施する場合には、 顧客が選択した地域に応じた教育を実 施するようにしてもよい。 つまり、 例えば、 ゴミとしての分別や出し方等は自治 体によつて相違するが、 これらの分別や出し方等を消費者の居住地域等に応じて 教育することで、 商品の処分に関する消費者の理解を商品の処分地域に応じた適 切なものにすることが可能になる。 なお、 地域の選択に際しては、 郵便番号ゃ電 話番号を利用してもよい。
さらに、 顧客に教育を実施する場合には、 過去の受講履歴と重複する教育科目 を省略したり、 受講履歴に応じて所定の教育科目を重点的に教育したりなど、 受 講履歴に応じた適切な教育を行うことで、 消費者による理解を継続的に効率よく 向上させることが可能になる。 つまり、 例を挙げれば、 新たに 2台目の自転車を 購入しようとする場合には、 1台目の自転車購入に際して既に受講している教育 コンテンツを受講対象から省くなどしてもよい。 また、 顧客が住所変更等によつ て商品の処分の方法が異なる地域へ移動した場合は、 受講履歴と顧客の住所また は選択地域とを比較することにより、 受講が必要な教育コースを案内するように してもよい。
また、 本実施の形態では、 第 1 4図に示したような商品ラベルを見て教育コー スに興味を持った消費者のアクセスを待って教育を実施する場合を説明したが、 本発明はこれに限定されるものではなく、 例えば、 消費者の消費者端末装置 2 0 に対して教育コースの宣伝メールを送信して受講を促す場合や、 消費者に対して 自治体などが教育コースの受講を義務付ける場合などにも同様に適用することが できる。 ( 3 ) 消費者の利益
また、 本実施の形態では、 割引対象の教育コース （教育コンテンツ） を受講し て試験に合格している顧客に対して一律に割引を認める場合を説明したが、 本発 明はこれに限定されるものではなく、 同じ合格であっても、 試験の得点に応じて 高得点ほど割引率を高くするなどしてもよい。 つまり、 例えば、 値引き率が 5 % である場合に、 テストの結果が 9 0点であったならば、 値引率を 「5 %x 0 . 9 = 4 . 5 %」 と設定してもよい。 このように、 試験結果 （試験の得点） に応じた 利益を消費者に供与することで、 消費者の教育意欲を一層刺激することが可能に なる。
さらに、 本実施の形態では、 消費者 （受講者） に対する利益供与として商品購 入に際して適用される割引を挙げたが、 本発明はこれに限定されるものではなく、 例えば、 商品の購入時に適用可能なクーポンの付与や、 いわゆるマイレージカー ドへのボイント加算、 所定の対価を有するボイントの付与など、 消費者に対する あらゆる利益供与を同様に適用することができる。
また、 力かる利益供与は商品の購入に際して適用されるものに限定されず、 例 えば、 第 1 6図に示すような値引き累計テーブルを教育サーバ装置 1 0などで管 理しておき、 消費者の確定申告時にまとめて自治体より税金還付するなど、 消費 者が選択した地域において適用可能な利益を供与するようにしてもよい。 これに よって、 自治体等で得られる公的な利益をィンセンティブにして消費者の教育意 欲を社会的に刺激することが可能になる。
また、 本実施の形態では、 教育コースの受講を条件にして割引という利益を供 与する場合を説明したが、 本発明はこれに限定されるものではなく、 例えば、 商 品に付けられた I Cチップを元にして消費者が適切な処分を実行した力否かを検 証した上で、 力かる適切な処分の実行も利益供与の条件とするなど、 他の条件を 付加するようにしてもよい。
さらに、 本実施の形態では、 消費者が消費者端末装置 2 0から店舗サーバ装置 3 0にアクセスしてオンラインで商品を購入する場合を説明したが、 本発明はこ れに限定されるものではなく、 消費者が直接店舗に足を運んで商品を購入するよ うな場合にも同様に適用することができる。 なお、 この場合には、 会計時に顧客 に登録カードを提示させること等により顧客を特定することになる。
( 4 ) システム構成等
また、 本実施の形態では、 教育サーバ装置 1 0と店舎甫サーバ装置 3 0とを別個 にネットワーク 1上に設けたシステムを示したが、 本発明はこれに限定されるも のではなく、 両者を一体としてシステムを構成してもよい。 なお、 両者を別個に ネットワーク 1上に設けることは、 複数の店舗の商品を一手に扱って効率的な教 育を実施しょうとする場合や、 教育サーバ装置 1 0の教育機関 （民間が運営する ものでも、 自治体が運営する公的なものでもよい。 ) としての公益性や中立性を 担保しようとする場合に有効である。
また、 図示した各装置の各構成要素は機能概念的なものであり、 必ずしも物理 的に図示の如く構成されていることを要しない。 すなわち、 各装置の分散 *統合 の具体的形態は図示のものに限られず、 その全部または一部を、 各種の負荷や使 用状況などに応じて、 任意の単位で機能的または物理的に分散 ·統合して構成す ることができる。 さらに、 各装置にて行なわれる各処理機能は、 その全部または 任意の一部が、 C P Uおよび当該 C P Uにて解析実行されるプログラムにて実現 され、 あるいは、 ワイヤードロジックによるハードウェアとして実現され得る。 また、 本実施の形態において説明した各処理のうち、 自動的におこなわれるも のとして説明した処理の全部または一部を手動的におこなうこともでき、 あるい は、 手動的におこなわれるものとして説明した処理の全部または一部を公知の方 法で自動的におこなうこともできる。 この他、 上記文書中や図面中で示した処理 手順、 制御手順、 具体的名称、 各種のデータやパラメータを含む情報については、 特記する場合を除いて任意に変更することができる。
( 5 ) プログラム
ところで、 上記の本実施の形態で説明した各種の処理は、 あらかじめ用意され たプログラムをパーソナルコンピュータやワークステーションなどのコンピュー タシステムで実行することによって実現することができる。 そこで、 以下では、 本実施の形態と同様の機能を有するプログラムを実行するコンピュータシステム について説明する。
第 17図は、 他の実施の形態に係るコンピュータシステムの構成を示すシステ ム構成図であり、 第 18図は、 このコンピュータシステムにおける本体部の構成 を示すブロック図である。 第 17図に示すように、 このコンピュータシステム 1 00は、 本体部 101と、 本体部 101からの指示によって表示画面 102 aに 画像などの情報を表示するためのディスプレイ 102と、 このコンピュータシス テム 100に種々の情報を入力するためのキーポード 103と、 ディスプレイ 1 02の表示画面 102 a上の任意の位置を指定するためのマウス 104とを備え る。
また、 このコンピュータシステム 100における本体部 101は、 第 18図に 示すように、 CPU121と、 RAMI 22と、 ROM123と、 ハードデイス クドライプ （HDD) 124と、 CD— ROM109を受け入れる CD— ROM ドライブ 125と、 フレキシブルディスク (FD) 108を受け入れる FDドラ イブ 126と、 ディスプレイ 102、 キーボード 103並びにマウス 104を接 続する I/Oインターフェース 127と、 ローカルエリアネットワークまたは広 域エリアネットワーク (LAN/WAN) 106に接続する LANィンターフェ ース 128とを備える。
さらに、 このコンピュータシステム 100には、 インターネットなどの公衆回 線 107に接続するためのモデム 105が接続されるとともに、 LANインター フエ一ス 128および LAN/WAN 106を介して、 他のコンピュータシステ ム (PC) 11 1、 サーバ 1 12並びにプリンタ 1 13などが接続される。 そして、 このコンピュータシステム 100は、 所定の記録媒体に記録されたプ 口グラムを読み出して実行することで上記した本実施の形態と同様の機能を実現 する。 ここで、 所定の記録媒体とは、 フレキシブルディスク （FD) 108、 C D-ROM109、 MOディスク、 DVDディスク、 光磁気ディスク、 I Cカー ドなどの 「可搬用の物理媒体」 の他に、 コンピュータシステム 1 0 0の内外に備 えられるハードディスクドライブ （HD D) 1 2 4や、 RAM I 2 2、 R OM 1 2 3などの 「固定用の物理媒体」 、 さらに、 モデム 1 0 5を介して接続される公 衆回線 1 0 7や、 他のコンピュータシステム 1 1 1並びにサーバ 1 1 2が接続さ れる L ANZWAN 1 0 6などのように、 プログラムの送信に際して短期にプロ グラムを保持する 「通信媒体」 など、 コンピュータシステム 1 0 0によって読み 取り可能なプログラムを記録する、 あらゆる記録媒体を含むものである。
すなわち、 この他の実施の形態でいうプログラムは、 上記した 「可搬用の物理 媒体」 、 「固定用の物理媒体」 、 「通信媒体」 などの記録媒体に、 コンピュータ 読み取り可能に記録されるものであり、 コンピュータシステム 1 0 0は、 このよ うな記録媒体からプログラムを読み出して実行することで上記した本実施の形態 と同様の機能を実現する。 なお、 この他の実施の形態でいうプログラムは、 コン ピュータシステム 1 0 0によって実行されることに限定されるものではなく、 他 のコンピュータシステム 1 1 1またはサーバ 1 1 2がプログラムを実行する場合 や、 これらが協働してプログラムを実行するような場合にも、 本発明を同様に適 用することができる。 '
(発明の効果）
以上説明したように、 本発明によれば、 商品の処分に関する消費者の理解を容 易にして、 資源の有効活用ゃクリーンな環境作りに対する消費者の積極的な協力 を推進することが可能になる。 さらに、 これによつて、 商品メーカや自治体が環 境問題に費やす負担を軽減して、 資源の有効活用やクリーンな環境作りを促進す ることも可能になる。
また、 本発明によれば、 消費者が選択した商品の種別を踏まえた適切な教育を 行う （例えば、 ゴミとしての分別や出し方等を商品の材料等に応じて教育する） ことで、 商品の処分に関する消費者の理解を商品の種別に応じた適切なものにす ることが可能になる。
また、 本発明によれば、 消費者が選択した地域を踏まえた適切な教育を行う （ 例えば、 ゴミとしての分別や出し方等を消費者の居住地域等に応じて教育する） ことで、 商品の処分に関する消費者の理解を商品の処分地域に応じた適切なもの にすることが可能になる。
また、 本発明によれば、 過去の受講履歴と重複する教育科目を省略したり、 受 講履歴に応じて所定の教育科目を重点的に教育したりなど、 受講履歴に応じた適 切な教育を行うことで、 消費者による理解を継続的に効率よく向上させることが 可能になる。
また、 本発明によれば、 教育を受ける消費者の意欲を試験によって刺激すると ともに、 消費者による理解の程度を試験によつて客観的に示すことで、 消費者に よる理解を効果的に向上させつつ強固なものにすることが可能になる。
また、 本発明によれば、 所定の利益供与をインセンティブにして消費者の教育 意欲を刺激することで、 消費者による理解を一層効果的に向上させることが可能 になる。
また'、 本発明によれば、 商品購入時に得られる直接的な利益をインセンティブ にして消費者の教育意欲を直接的に刺激することで、 消費者による理解を一層効 果的に向上させることが可能になる。
また、 本発明によれば、 例えば、 消費者の確定申告時にまとめて自治体より税 金還付するなど、 自治体等で得られる公的な利益をインセンティブにして消費者 の教育意欲を社会的に刺激することが可能になる。
また、 本発明によれば、 同じ合格であっても、 試験の得点に応じて高得点ほど 割引率を高くするなど、 試験結果 （試験の得点） に応じた利益を消費者に供与す ることで、 消費者の教育意欲を一層刺激することが可能になる。 産業上の利用可能性
以上のように、 本発明に係る商品情報提供装置、 商品情報提供方法および商品 情報提供プログラムは、 商品の処分に関する消費者の理解を容易にして、 資源の 有効活用ゃクリ一ンな環境作りに対する消費者の積極的な協力を推進することに 適している

1 - 消費者による適切な処分が要求される商品に関する各種の情報を消費者の クライアント装置に対してネットワークを介して提供する商品情報提供装置であ つて、
前記商品の処分に関する教育を前記消費者に対して前記クライアント装置を通 じて実施する教育実施手段と、
前記教育実施手段によつて前記消費者に対して実施された教育の進涉状況を履 歴として記憶する教育履歴記憶手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする商品情報提供装置。
2 . 前記教育実施手段は、 前記消費者が選択した商品の種別に応じた教育を実 施することを特徴とする請求の範囲第 1項に記載の商品情報提供装置。
3 . 前記教育実施手段は、 前記消費者が選択した地域に応じた教育を実施する ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第 1項に記載の商品情報提供装置。
4 . 前記教育実施手段は、 前記消費者に対して既に実施されて前記教育履歴記 憶手段によって記憶された教育の履歴に応じた教育を実施することを特徴とする 請求の範囲第 1項に記載の商品情報提供装置。
