Abstract

Ein Verfahren zur Untersuchung der Lumineszenz chemischer und/oder biologischer Proben weist die folgenden Schritte auf: Anregen der Proben zur Lumineszenz durch mindestens einen auf die Probe abgegebenen elektromagnetischen Anregungspuls, Detektieren der abgegebenen Lumineszenzstrahlung mittels eines Detektors, wobei innerhalb eines Detektionszeitraums mindestens ein Anregungspuls auf die Probe auftrifft, so dass innerhalb eines Detektionszeitraums mindestens eine Lumineszenz-Abklingphase detektiert wird, und Aktivieren einer dem Detektor vorgeschalteten Verschlusseinrichtung für eine Beobachtungsdauer zu unterschiedlichen Verzögerungszeiten.
