Abstract

This invention relates to a new natural blend free of nicotine and tar. This blend consists of treated Jew's mellow leaves mixed with tobacco in a proportion between ten percent (1:9) to ninety percent (9:1). The new blend could substitute for the traditional one in a proportion of 100% (10:0). This blend could be used with cigarettes, narghile or pipe tobacco. It is characterized in that, it is almost free of nicotine, tar and drugs so it could help in reducing smoking harms as well as helping smokers to quit smoking.

A NEW NATURAL BLEND FREE OF NICOTINE AND TAR
FULL DESCRIPTION
• Previous Art.
First of all I would like to greet the UN World Health Organization for the exerted efforts to reduce smoking harms. Unfortunately up till now, the international organization has not reached a practical solution.
Scientists presented a new technology to reduce smoking or control its negative effects. Most of the current solutions are expensive and unacceptable ranging between recommendations and advises to smokers and obligating companies to write on smoking packets (Smoking is very harmful).
The British Government issued a resolution obligating cigarette companies to reduce tar. Nevertheless, cigarette companies are still increasing their production according to the international standard specifications to face the increasing consumption.
Despite the continuous warnings launched by media against smoking harms, the smokers' number is increasing and smoking is widely spread specially among teenagers. I believe that imposing more taxes on smoking products is not and will never solve this problem.
• Problems or deficiencies with previous art.
It is clear that the modifications adapted by cigarette companies have proved their failure to decrease percentage of nicotine and tar since it is always the same in different kinds of cigarettes.
It is obvious that cigarette companies have not tried to find other alternatives such as adding a new blend with less amounts of nicotine and tar.
This invention presents a new natural blend with nicotine and tar up to nine times lesser than the traditional blend.
♦ The new with the related invention:
After many experiments to overcome smoking problems, a new natural blend free of nicotine and tar has been reached. This blend could be used for cigarettes tobacco, narghile tobacco and pipe tobacco.
The new blend consists of treated Jew's mellow leaves. It is characterized in that is has a good taste similar to that of fine cigarettes, but with less harms.
The experiments have indicated the following results:
♦ The smoke of the new blend smells the same as that of fine cigarettes.
♦ The inflammation ratio of the new blend is the same as the traditional blend.
♦ The new blend reduces smoking harms with about 9.5% - 95%.
♦ The new blend is almost free of nicotine and tar.

• The detailed description:
The new natural blend consists of Jew's mellow leaves mixed with tobacco with about (1 :9) to (9:1 ) and it could be (10:0). The new blend is almost free of nicotine and tar, however, it has the same taste and smell of opium, but without its harms.
It could be applied to cigarettes tobacco, narghile tobacco and pipe tobacco. The new blend could be used to treat drug addicts and to help heavy smokers to quit smoking gradually, since it is free of any drugs, nicotine and tar.

Claims

Claim 1 :
Method of modifying the traditional blend used in cigarettes, narghile and pipe tobacco with a new one by adding or substituting it with treated Jew's mellow leaves.
Claim 2:
According to claim 1, treated Jew's mellow leaves are added in proportion of 10% up to 90% to any of the above mentioned products with traditional blend and could be substituted completely in proportion of 100% or modified with any other new proportions thereafter.
