Abstract

L'invention concerne un capteur optique servant à déterminer la concentration et/ou la pression partielle d'au moins une substance contenue dans un mélange gazeux ou un liquide ou la valeur du pH. Ce capteur optique comprend au moins une source lumineuse qui induit une fluorescence dans au moins une couche ou un système de couches contenant une substance fluorescente ou excite des plasmons de surface. Ledit capteur optique comporte en outre au moins un détecteur optique qui sert à déterminer l'intensité, la période d'extinction, la résolution angulaire ou le déphasage de la lumière fluorescente ou de la lumière modifiée par les plasmons de surface dans la couche ou le système de couches se trouvant en contact avec le mélange gazeux ou le liquide. La/les source(s) lumineuse(s) ainsi que le(s) détecteur(s) optique(s) sont disposés dans un logement pourvu d'ouvertures ménagées pour l'entrée et la sortie de la lumière.
