- the invention relates to a glow plug, in particular for fuel engines, consisting essentially of a housing, a radiator arranged on the housing with a heating and regulating coil arranged in the glow tube, this heating and regulating coil being able to be supplied with current via a connecting bolt arranged in the housing.
- Glow plugs are usually provided for passenger cars and, in some cases, for trucks. These protrude at least with part of the radiator into the combustion chamber of the engine and so warm the combustion chamber before the engine is actually started and in Cold run accordingly.
