Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil destinés à mettre en oeuvre un système de téléphone permettant une connexion sans fil locale et une connexion sans fil à zone étendue. Dans un mode de réalisation, un système de téléphonie comprend: une unité de terminal constituée d'une première antenne, d'un premier modem connecté à ladite première antenne, un deuxième antenne, une deuxième modem connecté à ladite deuxième antenne, et une interface de modem connectée audits premier et deuxième modems, ledit premier modem fonctionnant comme une première interface aérienne utilisant la première antenne pour la communication de courte portée, ledit deuxième modem assurant une deuxième interface aérienne utilisant ladite deuxième antenne. La deuxième interface aérienne est différente de la première interface aérienne.
