Abstract

L'invention concerne un mécanisme de blocage par encliquetage, destiné à un logement pivotant de rétroviseur extérieur de véhicule, avec deux sens de blocage entre une cheville (20), en tant que pièce de blocage, fixée au véhicule de façon rigide à la torsion et une douille pivotante (50), en tant que dispositif d'arrêt à libération par ressort, placée sur la cheville (20) et montée sur le boîtier du rétroviseur extérieur, le sens de libération étant orienté radialement à la ligne médiane de ladite cheville. Cette pièce de blocage présente au moins trois éléments de blocage faisant saillie du contour extérieur de la cheville (20) dans le sens radial. Ladite douille pivotante (50) est pourvue d'au moins trois crans d'arrêt séparés, chaque cran d'arrêt étant composé d'une paire d'éléments d'arrêt faisant saillie du contour intérieur de la douille pivotante (50) vers l'intérieur. Chaque paire d'éléments d'arrêt enveloppe un élément de blocage par encliquetage, dans au moins une position de pivotement définie, par liaison de force et de forme au niveau d'au moins deux surfaces, lignes ou points de contact. La présente invention permet d'obtenir un mécanisme de blocage par encliquetage résistant durablement à la rupture et présentant des formes de composants simples.
