Abstract

Eine längliche dielektrische Barriere-Entladungslampe (1) mit Außen- (8a-f) und Innenelektroden (23) weist ein Rohr (4) auf, das am lampenfußseitigen Ende des Entladungsgefäßes angesetzt ist und den Lampenfuß umgibt. Dieses Rohr dient zur Aufnahme einer Dichtung, um die Lampe gasdicht in eine Prozesskammer einbauen zu können. Dadurch ist die Stromzuführung der Außenelektrode (8a-f) durch das genannte Rohr (4) von der aus dem Lampenfuß hinausführenden Stromzuführung für die Innenelektrode (24) getrennt. Auf diese Weise werden auch in Prozesskammern mit Unterdruck parasitäre Entladungen zwischen den im Betrieb auf unterschiedlichem Potential liegenden Stromzuführungen wirkungsvoll verhindert.
