  • Each SIM card has its own ICCID, and records all information of the user account in the SIM card, and must include the basic data used in the current GSM standard mobile phone system. The most important of these are IMSI (International Mobile Station User Identity) and Ki (Authentication Key). IMSI is the account ID and Ki is used when communicating between a mobile station (telephone) and a base station. Moreover, the pair of data IMSI and Ki must be registered in the operator system before they can be used, otherwise the SIM card will not be recognized. When the old SIM card is replaced with a new SIM card, the pair of data must be reconstructed by the system.
