Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein verbessertes Verfahren zur Herstellung von Vitamin B12, wobei eine Kultur fermentiert wird, enthaltend einen Mikroorganismus, bei dem wenigstens die an der Sirohaem-Synthese beteiligten Enzyme Uroporphyrinogen-III ­methyltransferase und Precorrin-2-dehydrogenase in ihrer Aktivität gegenüber den entsprechenden endogenen Enzymaktivitäten erhöht sind.
