Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Überspannungsableiter und eine Druckentlastungsanordnung für einen Überspannungsableiter. Erfindungsgemäss wird ein Überspannungsableiter bereitgestellt mit einem Kern mit einer Mehrzahl Blöcke, die zumindest einen Varistorblock (1) und zwei Anschlussblöcke (3) umfassen. In dem Kern ist zumindest eine Druckentlastungsanordnung (11) ausgebildet, die die Form eines Durchlassweges (13) von dem Kerninneren zum Kernumfang hat, und den der Austritt von heissem hochionisierten Gas aus dem Kerninneren in einer Ebene senkrecht zur Längsrichtung des Ableiters nach aussen gestattet. Der Kern ist von einem Aussengehäuse (7) umgeben.
