Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine spektral dispersive interferometrische optische Vorrichtung mit einer Lichtquelle, Mitteln zur Erzeugung einer Phasenverschiebung, Mitteln zur Messung der Intensität der Interferenzsignale, Mitteln zur selektiven Messung der Intensität des Interferenzsignals und Mitteln zur Bestimmung der Phasenwinkel und/oder einer relativen Phasenverschiebung der Intensität der Interferenzsignale. Erfindungsgemäß umfassen die Mittel zur Erzeugung einer Phasenverschiebung zwischen Komponenten unterschiedlicher Polarisationsrichtung in mindestens einem der Zweige des Interferometers ein Beugungsgitter. Die Mittel zur selektiven Messung der Intensität des Interferenzsignals in Abhängigkeit von der Polarisation erlauben darüber hinaus eine Bestimmung der jeweiligen Intensität für die TE-und TM-Komponenten des Interferenzsignals bezogen auf das Koordinatensystem des Beugungsgitters.
