Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'impression et un dispositif d'impression correspondant, pour appliquer sur un substrat, des couches minces, notamment des couches de résist ou des couches d'attaque, d'une épaisseur constante ou approximativement constante. Lors de l'impression à des vitesses de machine élevées et avec des milieux d'impression très visqueux, il peut se produire une rupture spontanée du film de milieu d'impression, entre le cylindre d'impression et le substrat, ce qui entraîne une diminution de la qualité d'impression. Jusqu'à présent, on parvient à minimiser cet effet par des vitesses d'impression basses et par l'adjonction de solvants et par l'échauffement du milieu d'impression, afin d'abaisser la viscosité. Une structuration du cylindre d'impression, du substrat ou du cylindre d'impression antagoniste avec des zones approximativement en points (7) qui arrêtent le transfert de milieu d'impression entre le cylindre d'impressions et le substrat, permet d'influer sur le film du milieu d'impression, de sorte qu'il soit sensiblement plus stable, tout en permettant d'obtenir toujours le même niveau élevé de qualité d'impression. Ledit procédé et le dit dispositif s'utilisent en typographie, en impression offset et notamment en flexographie.
