Abstract

La présente invention concerne un mélange destiné à être utilisé pour le revêtement de polymères, en particulier de polycarbonates, de manière à augmenter leur résistance à la rayure et aux effets de substances alcalines et un procédé de préparation et d'application dudit mélange. Ledit mélange selon l'invention comprend un composé époxysilane permettant d'assurer la polymérisation inorganique, un composé époxy permettant d'assurer la modification organique, un F-silane permettant de conférer à la surface revêtue des propriétés hydrophobes et un alcoxyde métallique permettant de durcir le revêtement, lequel assure la résistance aux alcalis.
