Abstract

L'invention concerne les techniques de séchage de planches et peut s'utiliser dans les entreprises de transformation de bois pour la fabrication de planches, de meubles, de maisons, etc. Le procédé de séchage de planches consiste à former un paquet de planches et à assurer la circulation forcée d'air dans le paquet. Les planches dans le paquet sont disposées à la verticale, et l'air de circulation forcée est dirigé de bas en haut le long des faces et des bords des planches, les extrémités et certaines parties des faces étant recouvertes d'un produit en émulsion qui adhère au bois humide de la planche. Ce produit est appliqué aux parties de la face de la planche sous la forme de bandes allant d'un bout à l'autre de la planche, au-dessus du coeur de chaque face. Cela permet d'assurer une bonne régularité et une vitesse élevée de séchage de la planche et d'éviter tout gondolement ou fissuration des planches.
