Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé d'élimination de substances oxydables contenues dans un flux d'air, notamment dans l'air de la cabine d'un avion, ainsi qu'un dispositif pour mettre en oeuvre le procédé. L'invention se caractérise en ce que des moyens supplémentaires (3a, 3b, 4; 12) servent à produire des agents d'oxydation qui agissent sur les substances adsorbées par l'agent adsorbant (5; 6) et les décomposent par oxydation pour régénérer ledit agent adsorbant, les produits réactionnels obtenus ayant un pouvoir d'adsorption réduit de sorte qu'ils peuvent être éliminés de l'agent adsorbant (5; 6).
