Definitions
- the object of the present invention is a toilet flushing set dosing adapter helping in dispensing detergents into the water contained in the flushing tank.
- a popular way of disinfecting and refreshing sanitary equipment is placing - in the lavatory pan openwork - containers with detergents, flushed by water from flushing.
- An other way is throwing blocks with antibacterial medium directly into the toilet flushing tank. It requires arduous lifting of flushing tank cover every time.
- flushing sets are not adapted for installation of dispensers available, which projects onto the insignificant demand for those devices.
- the flushing set dosing adapter makes it possible to supply detergents into the flushing tank without necessity of dismantling or can be used as a holder for an exchangeable container with detergent dosed into the flushing tank, including an option as a holder of container with a dosing unit.
- An adequately equipped dosing adapter could also be a detergent dosing unit into flushing.
- Flushing dosing adapter has at least one sleeve.
- the dosing adapter could be, at the very least, by one part connected with the particular flushing frame.
- the part of the flushing body could be the adapter bushing, which could be a part of the flushing cover or flushing tank.
- the adapter fitted for installation in the flushing body hole.
- the adapter has special catches making possible such installation.
- the dosing adapter could be equipped with a dosing cage.
- the open bushing of the adapter could have closure.
- the adapter could be equipped with access into flushing blockade.
- the adapter could include a float.
- the adapter could be equipped with dosing unit.
- the dosing unit could be the dosing surface.
- the adapter could be equipped with a part unsealing the inserted container inlet.
- the adapter could be equipped with a dosing controller, making possible change of the dosed detergent amount.
- the adapter could be equipped with a time controller making it possible to choose the moment of dosing the detergent into the water contained in the flushing tank.
- the solution according to the present invention would be explained on the examples presented in the figures.
- Figures 1 , 2, 3, 4, 12, 13, 14 present cross-sections of dosing adapters with catches installed in the unarmed flushing base hole.
- Figures 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 present cross-sections of dosing adapters, of which at least one part is permanently fixed to the flushing base.
- the toilet flushing set according to fig.1 has a dosing adapter with an open bushing (1 ) pressed against the cover (2) by a nut. Cap (5) is screwed onto the threaded part of the bushing (1 ).
- the sleeve (1 ) is constantly extended by openwork dosing cage (4) equipped with oval holes in its wall and bottom. Contraction of the clearance of the bushing (1) lower part permits placing of the inverted bottle with dosing unit, containing detergent.
- the bottle, presented by the dotted line, with dosing unit and free float placed in the dosing cage (4) form the detergent dispenser.
- An example of the detergent dosing unit is described in the application P-340158.
- the adapter can act as a simple dosage unit.
- the adapter catch creates flange of the openwork bushing (1 ), supported on cover (2), against which the outside threaded bushing (1) is pressed downward by a nut.
- the adapter catch In the lower part of the bushing (1 ), there is a conical contraction ended with a tongue, where openwork dosing cage (4) in spherical shape is screwed down.
- the cage (4) has a small number of holes, thanks to which, the cleaning agents dosed from it are not too intensively rinsed out. Therefore, the construction as a whole can work as dosage unit.
- Fig.4 presents an example of the dosing adapter giving possibility for solid cleaning agents dosage into the dosing cage without the necessity of removing the dosing unit from the adapter bushing.
- a long vertical bolt is screwed Into float (7) and is the time adjuster (12), because in case of some dosing units, the moment when the detergent will be added to the water depends on how far that bolt is screwed in.
- the adapter has an access into flushing blockade (6).
- that role plays staple and lug, where the padlock can be placed, blocking closure (5) lifting.
- Fig. 5 presents an adapter equipped with a complete dosing device (8).
- the presented dosing device is a part of the dosing unit described in the patent application P-340158.
- the tilting dosing pot is connected with the float by a horizontal arm hinged under the open bushing (1 ). If, in bushing (1), the container is placed, whose outlet will reach into the dosing pot, then the dosing unit will be formed.
- the amount of detergent dosed can be changed by a screw serving as a dosing controller (11 ). On fig.
- a flushing with an adapter with a cylindrical bushing (1 ) is presented, screwed into a special thickening (in that place) of cover (2) of the flushing.
- the bushing 1 In its upper part, the bushing 1 has a wide, threaded flange, on which is placed high closure (5). Below the flange, bushing (1 ) outside wall has a thread making it possible to screw the bushing (1 ) into cover (2) at a required height.
- the upper part of the bushing (1 ) has venting holes.
- the dotted line marks the inverted bottle with the dosing device. A round collar in the bottle bottom allows to suspend it inside the holder, under closed closure (5).
- the version appearing in fig.7 presents an adapter version with contracting bushing (1 ) permanently mounted in the flushing cover (2) and closed by cover (5).
- Cover (5) pressure against bushing (1 ) edge is provided by a spring.
- Bushing (1 ) cross-section is polygonal, in that case rectangular.
- the bushing (1) is supplemented by openwork dosing cage (4) in the form of a water-transmitting sack. Materials from which the sack is made can transmit the water in a limited way.
- a flushing with a simple version of the adapter containing open bushing (1 ), giving access to flushing inside is presented in fig.8.
- a short bushing (1 ) with hexagon cross-section in the flushing cover (2) is closed by high, tilting lid 5.
- bushing (1) The lower edges of bushing (1) are concave.
- the lid (5) can be closed when in bushing (1 ) there is placed a container with the dosing device.
- the adapter with bushing (1 ) In the upper part of the flushing tank (3) as in fig. 9 is placed the adapter with bushing (1 ) which is threaded inside. This allows to screw in the containers equipped with dosing device.
- Fig.10 shows flushing with an adapter containing bushing (1) diagonally installed in the flushing tank (3) sidewall bushing tongue. Inside the bushing (1 ) a protrusion is visible, that could be a catch for the inserted container. Bushing (1 ), screwed in, giving access to the flushing interior, is extended by openwork dosing basket (4). A pushed-in plug is a closure (5) of the bushing (1 ). Unwanted bushing (1 ) position change is prevented by lock-nut.
- fig.11 an example is shown of an adapter of inside wall-mounted flushing. Into the sloping bushing tongue of tank (3) wall, the open bushing (1) is pushed in and closed by cover (5). The bushing (1 ) is equipped with an internal protrusion determining the proper position of the inserted container. Dosing cage (4) is mounted to the sidewall of the flushing tank (3). A sealing ring seals the connection between tongue and bushing (1 ).
- a dosing adapter with dosing device (8) is presented.
- the adapter consists of an exterior bushing screwed into the flushing cover and ending at the bottom side with an openwork, convex bottom.
- a hole In the middle of the bottom is a hole, where the pin of the dosing pot placed above the bottom, travels vertically.
- a float Below the bottom, on the other side of the pin is mounted a float.
- Such a connection of the dosing pot and the float form a dosing device for selected container.
- On the inside wall of the outside bushing there is a threaded, protruding surface.
- bushing (1 ) which is threaded on the outside, can twist within specified limits.
- the bushing (1) cross-section is a hexagon.
- Fig.13 presents a flushing with a dosing adapter equipped with dosing surface (9). If the bottle with liquid is inverted and its outlet supported on a particular surface, and such factors are selected, as outlet placement level over that surface, its relief, inclination, the kind of material from which the surface is made and liquid viscosity, then water movement on that surface will cause slow liquid dosing from that bottle outlet.
- a slightly sloped dosing surface (9) which is the bottom of the bushing (1 ), half-open in the lower part. On that surface there is a small tongue, on which is supported the bottle inserted into bushing (1) outlet.
- the adapter is equipped with an untighting element (10), to pierce the outlets of inserted containers.
- such an element is a sharply ended vertical spike placed on the dosing surface (9).
- the most popular detergent container is a bottle.
- liquid would flow out from the bottle outlet.
- the best solution would be for the bottle outlet to be closed during this time.
- Such closures can be for example: aluminium foil, ball pressed against outlet surface. Therefore, in that case, the adapter, and especially its dosing device should be equipped with an element untighting the outlets of inserted containers, for example - by ripping the foil or lifting the ball.
- Fig.14 presents a cross section of the adapter with dosing surface (9), which is a special case of a dosing device.
- the outlet of the tight and suitably stiffened bottle is based on a disc made of a porous, properly selected material.
- the Adapter with the dosing surface can also be equipped with a dosage controller and time controller.
- the flushing can be equipped with more than one adapter, e.g. two adapters. One can be used for disinfecting agent dosing and the second for smell agent delivery.
