Abstract

L'invention concerne une émulsion de résine d'ester vinylique contenant un polymère constitué d'unités de monomères d'ester vinylique, en tant qu'ingrédient dispersé, et un monomère d'alcool vinylique, en tant que dispersant, présentant un degré de saponification supérieur ou égal à 70 mol% en mole et contenant 0,1 à 10 % unités molaires d'un monomère présentant un groupe d'acide aminé dans la molécule, et qui une fois sec à 20 °C, permet d'obtenir un film présentant une teneur en gel supérieure ou égale à 50 % en poids, par rapport aux matières solides de l'émulsion. L'émulsion de résine d'ester vinylique permet d'obtenir un film de revêtement présentant une grande résistance à l'eau bouillante. Cette émulsion présente une excellente stabilité de résistance à température ordinaire et à hautes températures. Cette composition est appropriée pour être utilisée dans des applications telles que des adhésifs pour le bois et pour le contre-plaqué.
