Abstract

L'invention a trait à un procédé électrochimique permettant l'oxydation-stérilisation humide de déchets liquides provenant de l'abattage des poissons, au cours duquel l'écoulement des eaux usées est commandé par des grilles, une tension contrôlée et une intensité contrôlée de courant continu électrique, la teneur en chlorure de sodium dans les eaux usées, la température des déchets liquides pendant l'électrolyse, la valeur du pH pendant l'électrolyse et l'élimination d'agents oxydants résiduels avec du sulfite de sodium ou du dioxyde de sulfure. Grâce à ce procédé, il est possible d'assurer l'élimination totale de tous les pathogènes et, par la même, réduire la teneur en BOD5, COD, couleur et TSS dans les limites prévues par la loi.
