- a "three-body" motor vehicle is a vehicle with four individual doors for the occupants and for which the body has a first rupture line between the engine hood and the windshield and a second rupture line between the rear window and the trunk of the vehicle, the rear window being fixed to the body.
- the fixed rear shelf limits the loading possibilities because the communication between the boot and the interior of the passenger compartment is limited when the rear seat is folded down. This limitation can sometimes be detrimental when trying to load bulky objects through the trunk.
