Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif destiné à appliquer un champ électromagnétique à au moins une partie du corps, et comprenant au moins un transducteur et un générateur destiné à appliquer un signal alternatif au transducteur, le transducteur étant conçu pour appliquer à au moins une partie du corps, au moins une partie du champ électromagnétique qu'il produit, le générateur étant conçu pour produire un signal alternatif avec une fréquence de base comprise entre 0,1 Hz et 4000 Hz. L'invention repose sur l'acceptation qu'un champ électromagnétique ayant les caractéristiques préalablement décrites, appliqué au corps, module le système immunitaire dudit corps. Cette effet de modulation sur le corps est dû au fait que des champs magnétiques à basse fréquence et faible amplitude, tels que mentionnés ci-dessus, produisent ou induisent de petites différences de potentiels dans les tissus. Ces petites différences de potentiels et leurs effets semblent avoir un effet de stimulation ou de modulation sur les cellules du système immunitaire.
