Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de coupe verticale destiné à couper verticalement un green et à ramasser simultanément la paille décollée et d'autres matériaux détachés situés sur le green. Ce dispositif de coupe verticale comprend un chariot pour rouler à travers le green (11), un arbre (2) monté de façon rotative sur le chariot à une certaine distance au-dessus du gazon, l'arbre étant orienté principalement dans la direction de la largeur par rapport à la direction de déplacement, un moteur pour faire tourner l'arbre, un certain nombre de lames coupantes (3) verticales parallèles montées de façon non rotative avec des espacements sur l'arbre, et un élément d'espacement (4) monté entre chaque paire de lames coupantes verticales adjacentes. Les éléments d'espacements (4) possèdent des brosses (8) pour balayer efficacement la paille décollée et les autres matériaux détachés situés sur le sol sans abîmer l'herbe. Ainsi, les opérations supplémentaires conventionnelles destinées à éliminer lesdits matériaux détachés sont évitées, permettant ainsi que les coûts de maintenance du green en condition régulière soient considérablement réduits.
