Abstract

L'invention concerne une structure et un procédé de compostage pour une exploitation d'élevage. La structure selon l'invention manipule le fumier et le traite en un processus continu de 25 à 30 jours pour en produire du compost. Cette structure comprend une zone à parois de forme allongée dans laquelle le fumier est entassé, aéré et mélangé tandis qu'il est déplacé vers une extrémité de sortie. La structure est dimensionnée pour pouvoir manipuler l'équivalent de 25 à 30 jours de fumier produit par l'exploitation d'élevage qui l'utilise. L'aération se fait au moyen d'un système de tubes intégré dans le plancher, les tubes étant disposés dans des zones de telle sorte que la quantité d'air injecté dans ces diverses zones peut être choisie.
