Abstract

The activator is used in biological (aerator) treatment plants as a dead catalyst. It is made of natural zeolite-clinoptilolite by atomization to fraction from 2 to 100 and has additionally modifed foodstuff substances and enzymes. The activator operates simultaneously as a selective ion-exchanger of ammonium, microorganism immobilizer, activates and segregates the sludge, affects of process of rotting, reduces the sludge volume by from 30 to 50 %, reduces the amount of the ammonia from 9 to 2 mg/l, increases the time of rotting from 22 to 40 days and ensures the reduction of the organic part of the sludge from 49 to 35 %. 4 claims
