Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung 1 zur Prüfung von Materialien durch Ermittlung und bildhafte Darstellung von Temperaturunterschieden oberhalb eines Schwellenwertes auf Oberflächen von Prüfobjekten 8. Mit Hilfe einer Kamera zur Ermittlung und bildhaften Darstellung von Temperaturunterschieden oberhalb eines Schwellenwertes werden in einem ersten Schritt Temperaturen von Gegenstandselementen (22) innerhalb eines der Kamera zugewandten Prüfbereichs (14 des Prüfobjektes (8) ermittelt. Anschließend wird dem Prüfbereich (14) mit Hilfe eines Laserstrahls (4) derart Wärme zugeführt, dass sich die Oberfläche des Prüfobjektes (8) im Prüfbereich (14) um mindestens den Betrag des Schwellenwertes erhöht. Die Gegenstandselemente (22) werden als Bildelemente derart dargestellt, dass Temperaturunterschiede oberhalb des Schwellenwertes zwischen den Gegenstandselementen (22) sichtbar sind. Die Abkühlung des Prüfbereichs (14) wird mittels der Bildelemente (20) dargestellt.
