Abstract

The speed of the electric motor (12) can be manually adjusted. At least one roller (4) is provided with a heating cartridge (7). The exchangeable rollers (3, 4) have different wave shapes.

Aus der US-PS 47 39 151 geht eine Vorrichtung zum Wellen oder Glätten von Haaren hervor, welche aus drei um eine gemeinsame Achse zangenartig schwenkbare Halteelemente (a,b,c) besteht. Zwei sich gegenüberliegende Endflächen der Elemente a und b sind gewellt ausgebildet, wobei die Wellen etwa die gleiche Form aufweisen jedoch versetzt angeordnet sind, so daß sie im geschlossenen Zustand ineinandergreifen. Die zwei anderen gegenüberliegenden Endflächen der Halteelemente b und c weisen dagegen ebene Flächen auf. In den Endflächen befinden sich Heizkörper, so dass die zwischen den Halteelmenten a und b bzw. b und c eingebrachten Haare durch Wärmeeinwirkung eine entsprechende Verformung annehmen. Da zwischen den eingebrachten Haaren und den Halteelementen keine relative Bewegung stattfindet, kann sehr leicht eine Überhitzung der Haare erfolgen.
