Ein derartiger seitlicher Aufsatz kann beispielsweise als Abstandshalter, als Frisierhilfe oder als Einrichtung zum Auftragen von Haarpflegemitteln ausgebildet sein. Die Befestigung des erfindungsgemäßen Aufsatzes an der Seite eines Arms kann beispielsweise mittels Einschieben, Aufstecken oder Anclipsen erfolgen. Das Anbringen des zumindest einen Aufsatzes seitlich an zumindest einem der beiden Arme beschränkt sich dabei nicht nur auf eine Seite des jeweiligen Arms, sondern der Aufsatz kann vorzugsweise alternativ an der einen oder der anderen Seite des Arms angebracht werden. Denkbar ist auch, dass mehrere Aufsätze gleichzeitig verwendet werden, wovon ein Aufsatz auf der einen und der andere Aufsatz auf der anderen Seite des Arms angebracht werden. Dies ermöglicht insbesondere eine deutlich vereinfachte Nutzung des Haarglätters durch Linkshänder. Ist der Aufsatz 5 als Einrichtung zum Auftragen von Haarpflegemitteln ausgebildet, so weist dieser üblicherweise eine Vlies 10 sowie einen Tank 11 zur Aufnahme des Haarpflegemittels auf, wie dies beispielsweise gemäß der Fig. 3d dargestellt ist. Ein Transport des Haarpflegemittels aus dem Tank 11 zum Vlies 10 erfolgt dabei vorzugsweise ausschließlich durch vom Vlies 10 erzeugte Kapillareffekte, wobei selbstverständlich auch denkbar ist, dass zusätzlich, beispielsweise durch manuellen Druck, Haarpflegemittel aus dem Tank 11 zum Vlies 10 befördert werden kann. Ein derartiges Vlies 10 kann selbstverständlich ebenfalls als Leiste 7 ausgebildet sein. Betrachtet man den Aufsatz 5 gemäß der Fig. 2, so kann man erkennen, dass der Aufsatz 5 in diesem Fall als Rahmen ausgebildet ist, der die beiden seitlichen Ränder des Arms 2 (vgl. Schnittdarstellung B-B) umgreift. Eine Befestigung des als Rahmen ausgebildeten Aufsatzes 5 kann beispielsweise durch ein einfaches Verklemmen oder durch ein separates Befestigungsmittel 12, beispielsweise eine Schraube, erfolgen.In an alternative embodiment of the solution according to the invention, designed as a Frisierhilfe attachment 5 has a brush 6 (see. Durch unterschiedlichste Aufsätze 5 und eine leichte Austauschbarkeit derselben, kann der erfindungsgemäße Haarglätter 1 individuell und einfach an persönliche Bedürfnisse des Anwenders angepasst werden, wodurch die Benutzerfreundlichkeit eines derartigen Haarglätters 1 deutlich gesteigert werden kann.
