Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a cabinet for electrical panel having improved functions and characteristics. It is known that cabinets for electrical panels are specifically designed and manufactured so as to meet the functional and installation requirements of the components that constitute the panel. In particular, in order to meet these requirements, cabinets are generally produced according to a parallelepipedal structure inside which an adequate space is delimited which is suitable to accommodate the components of the panel; the framework of said structure constitutes a chassis that is suitable to structurally support the various components operatively connected thereto, such as for example electrical and/or electronic devices, guides or supporting plates, cladding and/or protection panels, doors for opening/closing said electrical panel, et cetera.
  • the frameworks of cabinets are produced in several parts, generally constituted by elements that are arranged substantially horizontally and are known as cross-members and by vertically arranged elements or posts; said elements are furthermore mutually connected by appropriate connection means, such as for example corner joints.
  • the panels for cladding the electrical panel and an opening/closure door are then connected to the resulting framework.
  • the connection among the various parts of the framework and between said framework and the cladding panels is generally provided by means of welds or by using fixing means, for example screws, or by using both types of connection.
  • these solutions are not ideal, both as regards production and as regards the assembly of the various parts.
  • the aim of the present invention is to provide a cabinet for electrical panel that allows to obviate the drawbacks of the prior art and in particular lends itself to a significant simplification of production steps and to a reduction of the associated costs.

  • Another object of the present invention is to provide a cabinet for electrical panel that allows an overall reduction in the number of its constructive components, with a consequent benefit from the economic point of view and a reduction in the number of inventory codes to be managed.
