Abstract

Raccord, pouvant consister en un raccord d'extrémité, conçu pour être utilisé sur un conduit ou un tuyau flexible adapté à un fonctionnement en pression élevée. Ce raccord comprend un manchon intérieur (3) et extérieur (5) entre lesquels on doit placer et fixer une extrémité (2) du tuyau ou du conduit. Ces manchons intérieur et extérieur peuvent être déformés afin de fixer solidement entre eux l'extrémité du conduit. De ce fait, il n'est pas nécessaire d'augmenter le diamètre moyen du tuyau ou du conduit sur la longueur située à l'intérieur du raccord. On peut déformer ce raccord au moyen d'une opération en deux étapes consistant à emboutir vers l'extérieur le manchon intérieur, préalablement à l'emboutissage vers l'intérieur du manchon extérieur. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, le manchon extérieur peut être serti. Le manchon intérieur comporte des moyens d'étanchéité servant à empêcher des fuites de liquide depuis l'intérieur du tuyau ou du conduit. Ces joints peuvent être constitués par des joints toriques (21, 27) ou par des éléments à auto-activation (29, 30, 31) du manchon intérieur lui-même. La surface extérieure du manchon intérieur et la surface intérieure du manchon extérieur sont, de préférence, pourvues de nervures ou de dents (4) servant à faciliter le serrage des surfaces du tuyau ou du conduit. Ces dents peuvent être éloignées de l'entrée et dirigées vers la douille annulaire dans laquelle est placé le tuyau et devenir de plus en plus pointues dans le sens s'éloignant de cette entrée.
