Definitions

  • the invention relates to bristleware with a bristle carrier and bristles connected to it, at least some of which are combined into bristle groups, in which the distance between the bristles is smaller than the distance between the geometric centers of adjacent bristle groups.

  • the bristles are generally combined into groups in the form of bundles or bristle fields.
  • the free ends of the bristles in the aforementioned bristle products usually lie in a flat envelope surface. This achieves a good surface effect on the surface to be treated or processed, provided that this surface is also a plane.
  • the invention is based on the object of proposing a design for bristle products of any kind in which the bristles are equally effective both on the surface to be treated or processed, as in recesses or gaps.
  • This object is achieved in that the distance of the geometric center of at least one bristle group from the geometric center of at least one adjacent bristle group is substantially equal to or greater than the product of the average of the number of bristles in the two bristle groups and the diameter of these bristles.
  • the bristles In the case of bristle goods with a conventional arrangement of a large number of bristles in a bundle, the bristles accumulate in the inlet area of gaps or depressions and at most penetrate individual, external bristles of the bundle into the depth. Abstract
